Edgar Allan Poe 2.0: Black Mirror's 'Playtest' Reinvents The Haunted House Genre
Moving over to Netflix has clearly done Charlie Brooker's Black Mirror anthology a world of good – the horror-tech hybrid now finds itself a new home on the online streaming platform, bringing with it its A-list cast of familiar faces.

Well what a week of American Horror Story that was – the big twist may as well have torn our heads right off, but the tone was certainly set for the "real" season of the show to begin. We had Sarah Paulson and her dodgy British accent, Kathy Bates sporting her American Realtor Realness haircut, and a whole lot of trouble heading back to the Roanoke house. In the words of Geoffrey Rush in House on Haunted Hill – "sure is a funky old house, ain't it?"

Don't worry, I'm not about to start showing you things unsuitable for your tender ears and eyeballs. I AM about to show you something that's really freaking funny. (At least I think so. Your mileage may vary.)
RoAnna SylverPublished 7 years ago in HorrorFor Peters's Sake: Have We Seen The Last Of Evan Peters (Again) On 'American Horror Story?'
Well, Ryan Murphy definitely promised us a twist for the sixth episode of American Horror Story: Roanoke, but I don't think anyone was prepared for that whopper. While we're still in mourning over the loss of Evan Peters's Edward Philippe Mott from Episode 5, things looked promising when it was confirmed that Peters would be back in a different role. With a truly shocking week, did things fair any better this time round on the Roanoke ranch?
Tom ChapmanPublished 7 years ago in HorrorAre VR Experiences The Future Of Horror Movies? 'IT' Remake Sets The Bar High With New VR Video
As most of us are aware, horror movies are lacking something to keep us as fans interested. Lately, the decline in the number of people watching horror movies has increased dramatically, proving that they're not as big of a draw as they once were. And while movies in the horror genre aren't lacking anything in quality, it's how fans are experiencing them that's driving them away.
No Fairytale Ending: The Horrific Story Of Creepypasta's 'Abandoned By Disney'!
Abandoned theme parks, zombie mascots, and an Area 51-style conspiracy — just in time for Halloween. Plucked from the hellish nightmares of Walt himself, the story of Abandoned By Disney comes "first hand" from Christopher Howard Wolf, aka Redditor Slimebeast. On a par with the story of Slender Man, Abandoned By Disney is one of Creepypasta's most notorious stories. As with all these "true events" stories, the question remains — "Is there any truth in the story?" With X-Files like intuition I am here to find out, but warn you to turn back now — you will never hug Donald Duck again, ever!

While Pumpkin Jack the Skeleton King may have returned to the grave 23 years ago, the tat this hit-film inspired still haunts The Nightmare Before Christmas to this day. Just like a Jar Jar Binks Pez dispenser, the spirits are still strong for The Nightmare Before Christmas — and I don't mean that liquor sitting at the back of your parent's booze cupboard since the release of the film. Yes, you too can celebrate the anniversary of Disney's devilish delight with atrocious taste!

This little piggy stayed home, this little piggy had roast beef, and this little piggy had...a homosexual romance in the backwaters of America. Well we weren't expecting that! That's right American Horror Story fans, Evan Peters made his glorious and unexpected arrival on Roanoke this week and it was everything we hoped for and more. This week's episode finally shut down all those theories on who cast alumni Evan Peters would be playing.
Tom ChapmanPublished 7 years ago in HorrorSilence Of The Hams: What Is Next On American Horror Story?
Well, we won't be doing much sleeping after that! This week's American Horror Story: Roanoke continued to cause heads to scratch as we butcher our way towards the "big twist" in the next episode. And, as we have seemingly closed the book on the first chapter of Season 6, just where does American Horror Story go now?

Smoke filled the cab of the rusted Chevrolet truck. Claire sat with her legs tucked under her and a lit cigarette dangled from the corner of her mouth. On other nights, the truck sat in a path of moonlight, but tonight was different- darker than any night she had seen previously. To her right sat an oak tree — the oak tree. Its lower branches scratch the outside of the truck ever so gently, begging to come inside and get some relief from the rain that hits its leaves.

Whether Andy Muschietti's hotly anticipated IT remake sinks or swims, remember, "they all float down here." Fans of the upcoming film will know that 26-year-old Bill Skarsgård will star as Pennywise the Dancing Clown, the film's main antagonist — an evil clown who haunts the living nightmares of children. Only time will tell if we can get a faithful reimagining of #StephenKing's 1986 novel.
