Thoughts on the Playstation 5 reveal event
The Playstation 5 Reveal Event just ended, and I’m not entirely sure how to feel about it. Some of the games that they showed were interesting, they had a ton of games with interesting artistic design, but there was also a lot that was missing from the event. I personally had a lot of things that I liked and didn’t like from the event, so let's get right into it and start with the good from the event.

amyseimetzPublished 4 years ago in GamersWhy I won't be buying The Last of Us Part 2: Principles and Unethical Behaviour in the Gaming Industry
The Last of Us Part 2; it’s certainly one of the most anticipated titles as the curtain falls on the eighth generation of game consoles. Let’s cast our minds back to December 2016; Sony’s PlayStation experience event. The sequel was announced and the crowd went wild. At the time the first trailer went live I was certainly all in on the hype. A sequel to what many call one of the greatest games of all time; between it and CD Projekt Red’s Cyberpunk 2077, The Last of Us 2 was the only title I was dead-set on purchasing. That is until April 2020; as many of you may know, Naughty Dog suffered a catastrophic leak. Crucial details of the game’s story began to spread all over the internet and fans were very unhappy.

EclecticPotatoPublished 4 years ago in GamersMy Experience With Going Back To A Game I Haven't Played In Years
Recently I decided to pick up where I left off on a Multi Player Online Role Playing Game (MMORPG) that allows the player to complete quests, not only alone but also with the help of other players. Last time I played this game was in 2017. Starting back up with an old favorite can be hard. There are so many aspects you need to relearn and get used to again.

Lately there have been a lot of high end mobile games becoming available. This is amazing because it lets us know that our technology is evolving to allow our mobile devices to play mobile games as if on a PC or console. The biggest problem with this is that it's really only available to higher end smartphones and tablets. We're talking the kind you wait 3 days in line for kind of high end. Not everyone can afford that. I certainly can't and I work full time! There is a way, however, to get in on the action.

I read a post on social media which proclaimed the 16-Bit era of gaming was the best. This statement caused a lot of debate. As someone who has been an avid gamer for the past 25 years, having even worked in a video-game store, I completely agree with that statement.

1. Why do you lie to your loyal fan base? We all help and support your products, and we pay your bills in most regards. So why can't you be more translucent with your loyal fanbase. If you just explained more of your intentions on what you are doing; people would be much more supportive, instead of the deaf leading the blind. I bring this to your attention because you have changed ideas of what you are selling in many different ways. For example BO4 (Black Ops 4) was supposed to be a three year game. The COD to change CODs, but where did we end up. Getting spoon fed content with nothing to show for it. Letting us believe that we need to be in it for the long haul, then stealing that away? It doesn't make sense. So please enlighten your fanbase of why you lie to them constantly.
