Gluttony, gluttony, gluttony ...

I despise those with extreme intensity who lust food . My wandering eyes become focused. I sighted one man who has a firm grip on his cutlery. He consumes his food without a single intermission between every bite. I am amongst an enclave group of chefs who invite a handful of people to our secluded island every May. We encourage them to taste a variety of foods ranging from exquisite desserts, soups, salads, and elite entrees. After supper, there are those who return from where they came as we send them about their way. Then... there are those who are denied departure for our island, as they are forced to stay. Their departure is dependent upon their food consumption, alongside of the table etiquette they display.

Gluttons are greatly responsible for hunger and famine. Little that they know while they eat, they are under continuous observation, as their amounts of consumption and table etiquette are being examined. During our seven-day observation, if you are amongst the group of those who look at food with an excessive fascination , then you shall face... ELIMINATION! If people continue to not eat in moderation, then food will become a rarity. Not eating in moderation will eventually lead to the event of food becoming a scarcity. So we must take proactive measures to prevent the event of food becoming a scarcity. If we do not prevent "food scarcity" then food will eventually become a rarity. Therefore, we feel a deep urge to eliminate those who eat excessively and precariously.

I furiously stare at another man, whom is consuming his food profusely. He simultaneously sinks his teeth into everything; desserts, appetizers, soups, salads, and a steak that enormous, tender and juicy. His table etiquette is quite unruly. His behavior is causing me and my chefs to become increasingly moody. Therefore, we must inevitably prepare to do our duty.

He didn’t stop eating! He digs his fork and knife into the plate and he consumed... and consumed... and consumed... and consumed! I thought for a moment he was done eating, but he resumed! He then nears the serving table and sniffs the fumes from every dish as if it were perfume. Little that he knows, his fate is doomed!

From a great distance I can hear the decibels of his stomach grumbling. As he chews, my ears cant bear the sound of his jaws smacking; the sound is erratically discomforting. Dark thoughts...my mind is sporadically mustering.

THE FOOD SABBATH

On the seventh day we served everyone a final dish; a large glass of vodka , red wine alongside of Swedish pasta that was doused with spaghetti sauce as red as lava. I observed the same man, from the city of Mombasa. After eating his entrée he reaches into a stranger’s plate and ate his chips and salsa. He then sips on the stranger’s red wine which was very flavorful - as it was blended with Marasca cherries. This man must be handled. To give my thoughts more clarity, this man must be dismantled!

THE BAPTISM IN MURKY WATERS

By Alexander Mils on Unsplash

Later that night I caught the same man wandering through the halls staggering uncontrollably in his pajamas. I lure the man bayside. I launched him into the murky still waters. His flesh is feasted on by the sharks and piranhas that lurk the waters in the Bahamas.

Gluttony, gluttony, gluttony!

With my red heart shape locket dangling from my neck, I stare at the red waters and grin evilly. The sharks and piranhas feast on his flesh; their teeth cut through his skin effortlessly, like a chainsaw chopping through shrubbery. I departed the ocean’s side. I returned to the dining table. While feasting, another man utters,

“I'm stuffed! But those biscuits look so butterly!”

He is also blind to what will become of thee...
