Delivering The Verdict
“Order in the court!” comes clearly through the wall. We are in an anteroom adjacent to the courtroom, but the walls are thin and I can hear how everyone there shuffled into silence.

The 60 Second Servant ©️
This kill had to be done in 60 seconds, and recorded for the payment. This was an easy task. The setup was in play. I was the Wheelman and the Poi was a thief better known as Johnny Rocket. (I'm sorry, Poi is *Person of Interest*). Johnny was widely known as a ruthless bank robber in the small towns of European Cities. He would enter the bank, rob at gunpoint and then exterminate the teller and beeline to the getaway car with an experienced Wheelman. He was never convicted, and that was remarkable in this circuit of crime. His previous job was at a random bank in Bogota. Unknown to him the bank was Cartel owned. He never had a chance from the minute he went through the bank doors. First off, he didn't research this heist enough. No one escapes the Cartel. Well, needless to say he hit the bank and killed the young female teller and got away. The problem was the teller, a niece to the Capriano Cartel's underboss, whom he had executed. Stick a fork in Johnny, as he is cooked. Now by cooked, I mean walking Deadman. Still no damn clue as to what he did. In his mind it was just another payday. Johnnys’ ticket was punched from the moment he stole from the Cartel, let alone killing the underboss's niece.

“Order in the court!” Darrell says loudly. Darrell is our distinguished bailiff who has served in this court for as long as I’ve been here, which is 23 years this summer. We are on a first-name basis outside of the work hours and the court officialdom. As our judge enters the courtroom, everyone is standing up as they should. I know her for over 20 years as well, but I would never dare to call her Sophia. Court decorum, even though we are on good terms. Friends? Not exactly, she keeps her professional distance but always treats me fairly and with kindness.

Suspect attempted to hit officers with a car, fled the scene onto S. Santa Fe Dr., then caused a two-vehicle crash that sent two people to the hospital
The Verdict Must Be Published
“Order in the court!” is a cue for me to leave my chambers. As I enter the courtroom, everyone is standing up as they should. Over two hundred and fifty years of history and court decorum. I take the judge’s seat. My judge’s seat. My dad would be proud.

I was moping the floor when I caught a glimpse of red. It appeared in a flash before disappearing behind the counter. I glanced quickly at the clock mounted behind the cash register; it was well past 7 pm. The bakery’s doors should have been locked, and the patrons should have all left at this hour. I worked alone during the evening shift, but perhaps a customer missed the closing time and was locked in. It wouldn’t be the first time.

“Order in the court!” the bailiff barks loudly. We all stand up as the judge enters the courtroom and takes her seat. I came to hate this woman so much! Did they have to assign a female judge to my case? Really?

The Psychological Depths At the heart of criminal studies lies the complex interplay between nature and nurture. Psychologists and criminologists tirelessly work to understand how a combination of genetic predispositions and environmental factors contribute to criminal behavior. Notorious criminals often share common psychological traits, such as antisocial personality disorder, lack of empathy, and a disturbing inclination towards violence.

Human Pickle
In the records of criminal history, the name Karl Denke is in many cases eclipsed by additional scandalous figures like Jack the Ripper or Ted Bundy. However, inside the dull corners of twentieth century Germany, Denke's barbarities made a permanent imprint on the structure holding the system together. His story, covered in secret and loathsomeness, fills in as a chilling sign of the profundities of human wickedness.
