Early Morning shopping
Well quite a few years ago, I had an interesting morning. Thankfully time has softened the mental anguish. I was up at the usual hour getting ready for work. It was a warm summer morning, and after my normal routine, which included brushing my teeth ( this point becomes important a little bit later) I headed out.

Picture this: a young woman of 24 years old is about to marry the love of her life but the stress of wedding planning is getting to her so they treat themselves to a couple's weekend in sunny Devon, UK.

To start with, I'd like to point out that this story is true. Truly embarrassing. Nothing happened but it's one of those stories that even though it was nearly 35 years ago, I still haven't forgotten.
Jason Ray MortonPublished 3 years ago in ConfessionsThat one time I peed myself
When was the last time you peed yourself? Like, full on, wet your pants? Perhaps you were a child. It was a long road trip, your Sprite was working overtime, and you just couldn't hold it any longer. Or maybe you were sleeping, dreaming about a waterfall. Totally innocuous.
Lindsay RaePublished 3 years ago in ConfessionsHolding On To Hope
I sit here tonight, in this very moment starting to write down all the things that need to be said or that I feel that I need to say. I'll start off with the most obvious, I have loved you since the very first day that I meet you in May of 2008. We have been through so much good and bad, and its taken us so long to get to where we are now. It's taken us 11 years to be able to speak to each other about things, and not yell. Do we still fight oh yes we do, but everyone argues or has a disagreement. We have an amazing son, who seems to be more and more like you with each passing day, and not just with his appearance.
Sharon GriffinPublished 3 years ago in ConfessionsShift Your Weight
The once chunky kid who shopped in the husky section at clothing department stores lost a lot of weight between his sophomore and junior years in high school. Yes, that kid was me. I was active in the theatre department at school, sang in the show choir, the whole nine. After the weight loss, I delved deeper into what it means to be a physical actor. The previous year, I was a munchkin in The Wiz. I was no stranger to running around on stage. The habit carried in almost every role I took on thereafter. Not only was I growing in confidence as an actor but as a mover, a dancer.
Marquis D. GibsonPublished 3 years ago in ConfessionsFlight of Shame
My husband and I were at the airport waiting for our flight to take us home. We had just spent three days with the most picturesque landscapes; God's broad strokes of color were bountiful. The vacation had rejuvenated, relaxed, and refreshed us. We were ready to go home.
Rose Loren Geer-RobbinsPublished 3 years ago in ConfessionsHow close is too close?
Ok, don't be alarmed by the title image. I'm in a happy and long-term relationship with my partner. The only blood relationship we have has been explained in my last story and isn't the family-related kind.
Kayleigh TaylorPublished 3 years ago in ConfessionsWe're Parking Where?
Being chosen as an Air Hostess (which is what we were called in that less PC era) was such a thrill for me. Not for the glamour and not for any of the more obvious reasons, but because someone actually chose me, Linda, a small town, country girl.
Linda SimpsonPublished 3 years ago in ConfessionsWorld's Greatest Waitress
I have a mug that proclaims me to be the “World’s Greatest Waitress.” There’s a chip out of the lip and the writing’s so worn that it would suggest I’ve used it a lot. I haven’t. It came that way.
Jenny CressmanPublished 3 years ago in ConfessionsThe Vending Machine That Changed My Life
It was 1970 and I was a teenage boy with a point to prove to the world. "I was young and free!" I was a rebel in my own mind. A local bad boy. The hippy movement was in full swing and I was embracing it with both arms wide open. It was my time to shine. I had the most awesome car and the style to go with it. Nobody could stop me. (or so I thought)
Rebecca Lynn IveyPublished 3 years ago in ConfessionsA Special Kind of Mom Guilt
I think it is safe to say that most moms are extremely excited to bring their little on into the world. The idea of bringing a new life into the world can be daunting, especially as a first time mom. Therefore, you do everything you can to be prepared as the big day approaches. You build a birth plan, organize the nursery, and assemble all the seemingly millions of pieces of furniture that your little one requires.
