An Honest Review of Hilton Head Island in the Off-Season
Picture a breathtaking coastline that goes on for miles. The birds are chirping, children are playing in the sand, and you are relaxing with the toes in your sand. Now picture this same scene, but in early March. The off-season for East Coast beaches can be just as enjoyable as the warm on-season. Most of the shops are open for business, and the restaurants offer some of the freshest seafood you can find. But what is it really like to visit Hilton Head in the off-season? Is it insanely cold or miserably boring? No! Hilton Head Island has tons to offer even in the off-season. I am going to speak the honest truth of my experience, the good and the bad. Take a virtual trip with me to Hilton Head Island, South Carolina.

Electric Bikes Are Taking Over
Imagine you are in a new city sightseeing without a car like any typical tourist. You are walking in 90+ degrees and can no longer feel your feet. You still have a half mile to your destination and you just finished the last of your water. Then an electric scooter flies past you leaving only a gust of wind. You suddenly wish you were on one as well with your hair blowing and not a care in the world.

Denver: New and Improved
After a recent visit to Denver, Colorado I learned that every city is evolving and can change in the blink of an eye. Denver is now a vibrant, fun, eclectic, and young town. But as every local I spoke to told me this hasn't always been the case. Denver used to be a dinky city just like any other in the United States. Yeah people would visit to see the surrounding mountains but there wasn't anything special about it. Denver didn't used to have an identity which was hurtful to the city's tourism aspect. In the last few years Denver has established itself and really transformed its image in a positive way.

20 People We All Hate While Flying
1. The person in security that acts like they have never flown before. Like how do you not know that you need to take your shoes off or put your items in the tubs? I guarantee you they have seen a movie or TV show showing someone going through security. Plus, there are signs everywhere telling you what to do, and not to mention the TSA officers repeating every five seconds what you need to do.

The Road Less Traveled
We all hear the same bullet points at college orientation about activities to do and clubs to join. Sometimes study abroad gets mushed in there between drama club and inter-mural soccer, but no one ever pushes it. The only reason I inquired about study abroad was because it was something I had always wanted to do. And whether my school had a good study abroad program or not, I was going to make it happen. Luckily, my school had an awesome study abroad office with plenty of options to make my dream happen.
