Could Lori Loughlin Return to When Calls the Heart?
From 2014 to 2019, Lori Loughlin played Abigail Stanton on the successful Hallmark drama series, When Calls the Heart. The character was a fan favorite, doling out weekly doses of wisdom as the town's mayor and best friend to schoolteacher Elizabeth Thatcher Thornton.

Why This Television Episode Should Be Required Viewing in Schools
Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman, a popular historical drama in the 1990s, often produced poignant and meaningful episodes that made people take a long, hard look at their beliefs. Much of the time, the focus was on racism and bigotry between the white man and the Native Americans (the Cheyenne), but there was one episode that was so powerful, so heart-wrenching that it resonates to this day. So strong is the lesson in this episode that it should be required viewing in schools across America.

The Importance of a Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman Reboot
It's been nineteen years since Joe Lando and Jane Seymour played the roles that won the hearts of millions of fans around the world. As Sully and Dr. Michaela Quinn, the duo ignited a passion for historical drama and romance that still sizzles today. In fact, the fan base continues to grow as more viewers find the series which recently aired all six seasons on Amazon Prime but is now available on Philo.

Bingeing the Nineties
With so many options to binge nowadays, it's difficult to know what to watch. Maybe you don't just like one type of show. It can't be all reality or science fiction shows for you. I'm the same way. I mix up my binges all the time, but I have to admit that 1993 debuted some of the best bingeable shows that I will still watch today. Check them out; maybe you'll want to catch them, too!

When Better Days Begin
One day, though I don't know when, the world will return to normal. It might not be the normal we once knew, but it will still offer us chances we don't have locked at home. And when that day comes, I can just imagine all the empty driveways in the neighborhoods around my town. Mine will be one of them.

Destination: A Kinder World
There's a place I've been wanting to visit for quite awhile. There won't be any strangers there because everyone you meet will become a friend. No car horns will be honking because patience will be plentiful. Derogatory names won't be used as words will be filtered through a veil of compassion, and people would rather sit and talk awhile than to waste precious energy and time arguing about something that won't matter in twenty years.

Thanks For Letting Me Stay Home
I'm out of milk. It goes on the list. Add some bananas, a carton of eggs, and a few more items that I've run out of out, and I'm ready to check out. There's no waiting in line, putting my things on a conveyor belt, or running my debit card through the pay slot.

The Arrowverse Characters Who Need Their Own Series
The Arrowverse has been the home to many fabulous characters, some of which haven't had nearly enough screen time. It's not that the writers didn't try to do their best by them, it's simply that there is a limited amount of time for the story to unfold per episode.

Oh, How We Missed You, 'Downton Abbey!'
Warning: This review contains spoilers. Please do not read if you have not seen the Downtown Abbey movie. No fan knows how much they truly missed Downton Abbey until they hear the strains of familiar music welcoming them back to the 1920s. (I half-expected to see Hugh Bonneville’s character, Lord Grantham, walking up the path toward the house with his faithful dog at his side.) It only takes a few seconds of dialogue between Mr. Barrow and Lord Grantham for us to know we’re back in a rich world of strong characters and witty dialogue; a fantasy world, to be sure, but since the period drama ended in 2015, fans have discovered nothing that could take its place.

Hallmark Channel broke new ground when it debuted When Calls the Heart in 2014. The drama quickly escalated to the top of the ratings charts and amassed a fanbase of dedicated viewers that are lively, interactive, and determined to keep their favorite show on top.

Movie Review: 'I Can Only Imagine'
Released in 2018 and with a modest budget of $7 million, I Can Only Imagine became a box office success, raking in $85 million worldwide to become the fifth highest-grossing music biopic and the sixth highest-grossing Christian film of all time in the United States. Still, it took me well over a year to watch it. And then I immediately saw why the movie won "Inspirational Film of the Year" at the 2018 Dove Awards.
