That one time I peed myself
When was the last time you peed yourself? Like, full on, wet your pants? Perhaps you were a child. It was a long road trip, your Sprite was working overtime, and you just couldn't hold it any longer. Or maybe you were sleeping, dreaming about a waterfall. Totally innocuous.

Adopting a DinosaurTop Story - April 2021
You know how when you're eighteen and you make dumb choices? Yeah. This is one of those stories I was still a teenager, barely an adult, when I moved out with my boyfriend to a brand new city. For the first few months we lived in someone else's house; a mattress on the floor in the corner, cardboard boxes filled with our meagre belongings stacked against the opposite wall, living off cereal, hotdogs, and Sidekicks noodles.

The Perfect Date NightTop Story - March 2021
I keep reminding myself that it's only a date. I haven't been on many, as the butterflies in my stomach keep reminding. The balmy evening breeze winds its way through the glistening streets, still damp from rain. It tousles my low ponytail, and I tuck a strand of hair behind my ear. Despite the warmth, I pull my sweater a little tighter and look your direction, unable to help the smile tugging at my lips.

Super, Natural, British Columbia
I moved around a lot as a kid. My parents separated before I'd turned one. Between bouncing back and forth living with my mother and my father, and both of them moving from place to place, by the time I'd graduated High School I'd been to nine different schools.

The Best Short Story Ever Written
If I could write one thing, just one good thing, that would be enough for me. As I board the city bus, I can’t shake the dread in my stomach. Skipping class isn’t an option. I couldn’t let the student loans go to waste. This is what I wanted, right?

Love It or List It
As a millennial, I don’t have cable TV. It’s not that I can’t afford it (avocado toast isn’t that expensive), it just seems like the vestiges of a bygone era. These days, everything is on demand. You can watch whatever you want, whenever you want, for as long as you want, til you run out of content.
