Believe in Yourself
One of my all-time favorite bedtime stories would be Pippi Longstocking. Writer Astrid Lindgren wrote this Swedish children's novel. It was published by Rabén & Sjögren in the year 1945. Lingren's daughter, Karin Nyman, was the inspiration for Pippi Longstocking. Her daughter actually invented the name herself. I probably listened to, read, watched this on television, over, and over again. Pippi Longstocking is about a spirited, freckled, red-headed, pig-tailed, fearless, independent, spunky little girl. Pippi lived in a big house that she named, "Villa Villekulla". She lived in this house with her pet monkey named Mr. Nilsson, and a horse, who lived on the porch.

Game Over
It is quiet. Unusually quiet tonight. No dogs barking. No guns clapping in which would signify someone's death in the news in the morning. No fire trucks, and no police cars whirring in the night. It is peaceful outside, "Which makes it peaceful inside", thought Marcus as he played his video game Infection. It is a game that allows you to infect the world with different diseases. You could set up the symptoms, how fast it spreads, and more. Marcus loved this game. He played it off and on when he was upset with the world about something. Tonight, Marcus was disturbed by something. Marcus wanted to go on a field trip to the colleges. It was arranged by his Math teacher Mr. Davis who believed Marcus was a genius at this subject. He told Marcus it would not cost them a thing. Mr. Davis was willing to pay all of his expenses. That is how much he believed in Marcus and his mathematical skills. All the other students knew Marcus was more advanced than them. They accepted how advanced he was and encouraged him to go on the trip. The entire school supported him.

I Care, For Sure
I am passionate about helping others. It does not matter their situation or need, I simply want to help. I like assisting those who are gang-affiliated, homeless, runaways, drug/alcohol addicted, the mentally, socially, emotionally ill or impaired, children, teens, babies, veterans, elderly, single parents male and female, the abused, human trafficked survivors, family, friends, animals, and strangers. Pretty much anyone that really and truly needs it.

Begin Again
My passion is helping others who need help. Not just any and everybody. I help survivors and victims of human trafficking, sex slavery and, prostitution by showing them how to help themselves. I help them with family reunification, obtaining transitional housing, drug/alcohol rehabilitation programs, life skills/employment training, parenting classes, physical/mental health assistance, counseling, therapy, and tattoo (branding) removal. We do much more, together.

I Wish You the Very Best Of Everything!
I thought I could write this without any issues. I was wrong. She was said to be complicated but, I do not believe so. I think, Velma was very special, not so much different or complicated. Velma was able to make you smile and laugh no matter your situation just by giving that crooked, little grin of hers. The one she used when people told her something she did not believe, or when she thought something was sarcastically funny.

PIECES
I was being held against the wall in a hotel room by my throat. My feet dangling in midair. My mind is racing trying to not panic however, at the same time I am thinking of how to get out of this. It is amazing how very fast or slow a mind goes in the face of danger. I heard the man who was tightly pressing his huge fingers to my throat say, "Don't try to take advantage of me.
