This is the second article on my review of the ideas in The Four Agreements. Here's the first article: I knew that I'd move forward with this series, but I put it off as Agreement #2 is a big stumbling block for me. I'd like to say I decided to get out of my own way and thus wrote this, but that isn't the truth. (Since Agreement #1 is to Be Impeccable with Your Word I surely need to own up to that)

Starting With #1
I grew up learning to count to 10, and that verbal climb seemed so steep and difficult to master! Later I went to 'Saturday School' for catechism, and learned there were 10 Commandments. (Later still I saw that they had been made into a movie, and the publishing of these commandments were pretty complicated. That's a different thing altogether.)

I am a Maximizer. I used to think that meant I made the best out of a situation. And, I suppose that’s still true. But, according to Now Discover Your Strengths, (by the dreamy-blue-eyed Marcus Buckingham) a Maximizer is someone that develops already performing folks to the best potential.
