Tyrannosaurus Hack
A Poem on Dealing with Authority
If you are anything like myself, you'd cringe in the presence of authority figures who do not see reason. There is a problem with them, though. They're far from easy to deal with.
Like them or not, we can't live without them and will encounter them at some point. How then, do we hack a tyrannosaurus? Other than running under a table (definitely not an option for me) there might be a few tricks we can put up our sleeves which can help us react to them in a balanced manner, considerate of everyone involved.
We pick our battles and try to empathise with why they insist on their policies or behaviour. Set those boundaries, and if the roar of the tyrannosaurus gets a bit too much, we weigh our options. Perhaps the king of the dinosaurs is also a sign of the times.

The king of beasts
Roar tears heaven, deafens
Majestic beast, burden
See with his eyes, feel with his hands
Tiny
Tyrant
Tries to expand
Kingdom so insecure
Draw boundaries around the land
Defend.
