Tennis At Mar-a-Lago
Ayesha was ambitious, good at school, and now had a real job. When her mom asked her to keep an eye on Dad, the pint-sized first-grader took the assignment to heart. Later that afternoon, on hearing noises in her dad’s study, she tiptoed to the door. The wood felt rough as she pressed her ear against it. Her heart raced in anticipation. From TV, she knew parents usually take drugs or kiss other people behind closed doors.

Howard Bubski Explains Why He Is Safer Than A Bear In the Forest

A Japanese Parliament Member’s Car Hit Me in 1995 and I Was Bribed to Stay Quiet
Six months after landing in Tokyo, having spent my life savings trying to start a new life, I finally landed a job. After living in poverty on $10 a day, I entered the world I always dreamed of. A position in the center of Japan’s economic engine, working within the headquarters of the country’s largest bank, Mitsubishi Bank. I used my I.T. skills to scour their databases for discrepancies and misbookings. I was called into meetings with the management to give reports on errors involving millions of dollars, then asked to leave when they discussed what to do about them.

The Nicer the Uniform, The Worse The Job
A librarian has a fine job. Sitting in a quiet, nicely decorated library, they watch people read books. Their main responsibility is to smile at visitors when they check out a volume, and to keep smiling when they promise to return it two weeks later.
