Cancún is a city and municipality located in the northeastern part of the Mexican state of Quintana Roo, on the Yucatán Peninsula. It is also a beach resort destination for tourists from around the world especially in the US during Spring Break.

A big number of vacationers from Canada, Australia, and Europe visit Cancun in the peak months where there are several art deco festivals to celebrate spring.

But due to COVID-19 there a few things you need to know before going to make the most of your vacation.

So before you go, I'll leave you some data about the current circumstance and a few hints so you capitalize on your outing or choose whether it is great or not.

1. While showing up at Cancun's air terminal they'll measure your temperature, and ask you COVID-19 inquiries.

Entering Mexico doesn't need a PCR test, isolate period, or getting voyager protection.

Cancun air terminal began offering PCR investigation for voyagers returning to the United States and Canada.

2. You´ll need to hire a transportation service from Cancun´s airport due to the distance between any destination is about 30 minutes.

UBER assistance isn't accessible at the air terminal nor in the city.

The transportation that is accessible at the air terminal are Taxis, Private Transportation, transport (ADO), and Cancun Car rental services. Every one of them follows the preventive and wellbeing signs for COVID-19, so you can have a sense of safety.

So in my experience, I´ve tried bus transfers and while it was a cheap option it was not the most comfortable one and it actually took more time than I would have like it. Plus once I got to Cancun´s downtown I had to take another transportation service to get to my hotel.

The next few times I´ve been to Cancun I opted for Cancun Airport Shuttle and I have no complaints so far. Take in mind that it is a more expensive service but it all depends on what you are looking for and your budget. Both options are good if it fits with your needs.

3. Mexico has built up a traffic signal framework to decide the general wellbeing status of the country and what organizations are permitted to work.

Status is refreshed week after week and it is controlled by the amount of new cases, medical clinic inhabitance patterns, level of positive cases, and the occupation rates in medical clinics.

Realizing this is significant so you realize what's in store when venturing out to Cancun, Mexico, and the things you'll have the option to do. Other than this, the public authority has isolated the state into two areas North and South.

4. Actually, wellbeing measures in Mexico are very acceptable. As should be obvious, all the public spots have a required principle to wear covers. At eateries and inns, they'll check your temperature, offer you hand sanitizer, and a tangle to disinfect your shoes.

Likewise, in establishments and hotels, they have taken out the actual menus to supplant them with computerized renditions and the smorgasbords are not, at this point outside. Their visitor limit is decreased so individuals can regard the setup distance and rooms are continually cleaned.

It is worth making a personal clean slate about your health and taking the best care of it. It is also useful to be prepared to face unexpected situations, such as an emergency, or a polluted water supply for example, and how you will manage to keep yourself as healthy as possible in those circumstances. Don’t forget to pack your bag with the items that you may find useful: sunscreen lotion, insect repellent, a sanitizer spray among other things depending on your destination and needs.

Take these points into consideration and enjoy your time in Cancun, Mexico.
