From Everyday Stress, Discord & Strife to a Totally PURA VIDA Life. .

Isn't it amazing how life continues on. .without one bit of giving. There's no rest for the weary. Everyday is a huge challenge for most. And, in turn, we must all step up to every situation that transpires before us. If we don't take care of the business at hand, then bad things happen. We have to stay one step ahead of the game and know that we have to command an offensive position. We have to adapt. . or we will perish.

Vacation. . "a period of time spent away from home or business in travel or recreation". . "a scheduled or planned period during which normal activity is suspended". . "a period of exemption from work granted to an employee". . "a respite or a time of respite from something". However one defines, "vacation", we all know that it a VERY NECESSARY period of time that is required to keep one's sanity and to continue to function at the high level that is required to live our lives. It is a time to reboot, recharge and regenerate one's mind, body and spirit.

Taking a vacation. . planning a getaway. . spending some time in Costa Rica is how it always starts! Seeds are planted and soon after, they begin to sprout. .

Many of us work the entire year up to the point where our head feels like it is going to explode. We're so wound up and frazzled. There's an unpleasant and unnatural feeling of electricity. . a buzzing. . running through our veins to the point that we have to take handfulls of pills to get rid of the headaches. . to go to sleep and to keep us from sinking into a deep hole from which we can never climb out. Stress is a killer and a vacation. . a well-deserved getaway. . is a temporary solution to our problem. . no matter how short it may be. And, that's how it starts. .

This month has been a record for those wanting to move PERMANTLY to Costa Rica. They all have one thing in common. . whether it was ten years ago. . three years ago. . or sometime in 2021 or 2022. . they all have taken a vacation to Costa Rica. And when asked, many of them told us that they knew. . somehow. . after their first time or two here, that they might want to explore their options. They may just consider making a move. . a move from their beloved country in which they were born and where they spent all of their lives. The country where their children were conceived, friends were made, families were built and life was cherished. They are willing to at least think about giving up everything that they had worked so hard for and have created to now spend the rest of their lives here on earth in one of the happiest countries on the planet. . yes, you're right. . I'm talking about Costa Rica!

At times, I sink into the trap of 'catching up with the daily news' around the world. What I heard today inspired me to share with you my thoughts on an alternative to what is going on. The headlines today consisted of a possible war with Russia and three cops being shot and killed. Add in all the other BAD NEWS that hits us from every direction and it's hard to stand up at times. The solution for many is to rid themselves of all outside influences and become one with Mother Nature. Because of their initial time spent in Costa Rica, they know that it is so very easy to get lost in TODAY, totally enjoying every minute of every hour. . of every day. . of every week.

Many have decided to TURN OFF the spigot of bad news, hard times, racing with the rats. . and countless headaches, stresses and strains on every inch of their minds, bodies and spirits and succumb to the wonder and awe of the PURA VIDA Lifestyle. It may be worth a quick look. . and you may just like what you see. .
