Far, far away. . in another land that, at times, seems as if only a dream. . when one closes their eyes and feels deep in their soul the desire to experience what is so very special, Costa Rica comes to mind. . a land of enchantment. Many never arrive. . only in spirit and in make believe. .

Some reach out and find their way. . those are the lucky ones. .

Today, however, I am speaking ONLY to those who know that there is no way in heaven that they will be visiting Costa Rica anytime soon. You've sat down and have thought it out. . you're READY, but you are just not ABLE. You are WILLING, but it's just not going to happen. Kids are in school. . a family member or friend who is ill. . a job that never stops, with all of the insane meetings, deadlines and tiring responsibilities. It's hard for you to even set aside an hour or so to have coffee with a friend, nevermind trekking all the way to Costa Rica!

The bills never stop arriving, either in your inbox or at your doorstep. College is coming up soon for the twins and you haven't even started thinking about how THAT'S going to get funded. The baby's crying all night and you're up, changing diapers and rocking that cute little bundle of joy like a crazed maniac, hoping that he'll finally fall asleep. The ceiling showed a wet spot in the corner after that torrential rain last week. . is a new roof in your immediate future? Hell no. . a visit to Costa Rica is DEFINITELY NOT in the cards for you. . No way. . No how! Shut the darn door on that idea! SNAP OUT OF IT & quickly return to reality.
