What you need to get ahead in the money game

We all fantasize to live the dream one day, the dream of popularity, fame, and fortune. I mean, who amongst us does not live to see that one day they'll be driving around LAX on their very own Rolls Royce or strolling around Beverly Hills in their Cadillac.

As Bruno Mars had put it in a song " I got a condo in Manhattan... I'll rent a beach house in Miami...Lobster tail for dinner...I'm talking trips to Puerto Rico...Shopping sprees to Paris, Everything 24 karats..." I don't need to put all the lyrics of the song for you to get the point, we all just want to save ourselves from the pressure and chaos of our routinely 9-5 job with barely enough for us to feel what we worked hard for. We all just want to live the life.

But, how do we live the good life we have always dreamt of having?

By getting access to all the resources in the world. And how do we do that?

ChaChing!!! By having MONEY!!!

You know what they say, Money makes the world go round.

Most people would have questioned, What if your stuck in your 9-5 job how else can you live the life, especially now in our highly evolving, competitive environment.

It does sound scary that one day when you wake up the price of your rent just doubled or even tripled, your car payment, student loans and credit card's interest is now twice it's principal amount which left you with no choice but to use up all those money you've been saving up for that long weekend trip you've been dying to go to ever since or for that house you've been long eyeing and in an instant it was all gone and your all drenched up in reality how long and how can you still recover.

Sad, right. But, It's not supposed to be that hard.

Oooh...compounding interest, boring as it sounds but it is what's going to make you rich and famous.

In layman's term all you need to know is how to invest in yourself or in the most simple definition how to put the money that you worked hard for back into your pocket.

The secret to getting ahead of the game is knowing how to put back the money you worked hard for back in your pocket. How do you do that? By paying yourself first.

Yes, you're going to pay yourself.

You earned it. Do you not? You're working hard not only to pay your bills but to experience life yourself. You deserve a pay, a bonus even. Even owners of the company do that, they allocate a portion of the pay for themselves.

You see, A company hires people to get their job done and in return they pay them for their work, most often times they even reward their employees with bonuses for an exemplary work. Now, all you have to do is implement the very same concept on yourself.

You pay a portion of your salary to yourself for a job well done, It doesn't matter whether it's $5, $10, $50, $100 or what the amount was because the monetary value of what you will accumulate now is not going to be its value in the future. It will always go up higher.

The next question is: Where will you put your money in?

There are tons of ways of where to put it, whether you put it on a savings account, mutual fund, 401k, Roth or Traditional IRA, Life Insurance, Brokerage account, all those have the power to make your money grow but always consider for the best way.

Always put in mind the power of compounding interest on which will make your money grow as the time goes by. The money that you put in now no matter what amount has the power to accumulate into thousands and millions or even billions in just a year's time if you put it in the right direction!
