Organize Your Way to Productivity
I’m an artist and creative writer—I’m also a student supporting myself financially. I knew getting through school without a job wasn’t an option for me. Getting through six exams in a week is stressful enough without worrying about the finances. An outlet for all that exam stress is being creative by painting or writing but it can be hard to make the time. All that stress can really inhibit my creative flow.
Kelsey ReichPublished 3 years ago in LifehackCatch Her If You Can! A Feature on Jessica Nabongo
I'm excited to highlight someone who I think is super inspirational. Travel influencer and creator Jessica Nabongo-- @thecatchmeifyoucan on Instagram-- is the first Black woman to travel to all 195 countries on this earth! As of October 2019, she has achieved this feat and has been on Good Morning America. Jessica has also been part of the Four Seasons celebration of Black excellence on Instagram, and has been written about in Forbes. She is writing a book about her experiences; I can't wait to read it when it comes out.
Denise ElnajjarPublished 3 years ago in WanderIt's Not The Winning. It's The Taking Part.
We all grew up with those phrases: Sticks and stones may break my bones but words will never hurt me. You're rubber and I'm glue, what you say bounces off me and sticks to you. And of course my personal favourite, it's not the winning, it's the taking part that counts.

I got into portrait photography as a way to challenge myself and meet new people. Early on, I stumbled upon Baraka's portraits on Instagram. Little did I know that his friendship and artwork would change the way I look at art and the world.

I Found A Community In Gaming That Helped Me Give Back
That was the first time I picked up a controller and pressed the start button and became fully immersed into a world that wasn’t my own. From that moment on, I was hooked! The thrill of victory and overcoming the challenges the game had set was exliterating. Each and every game has its own unique win conditions, and once you meet them, you want to find a new game and new win conditions to test your skills over and over again! The ability to play with my friends made gaming a staple pastime in my book.

How Gaming Is Keeping Me Sane
Over the last year, we’ve all found ourselves stuck inside more and more. One of the few upsides to the last twelve to fourteen months is how many people have either got back into video games or have picked up a pad for the first time. It’s shown the world just how important games can be both as a story-telling medium and as a form of escapism from whatever troubles, little or large, we face in our real lives. Some people even took the time and effort to master specific games either for their own enjoyment or the satisfaction of emerging victorious (lets face it, winning does feel pretty great most of the time).
Peter EllisPublished 3 years ago in Gamers 13 Things That’ll Save Your Sanity During Wedding Planning
Planning a wedding may be one of the most stressful undertakings of this lifetime. I hope you can learn from or at least laugh at my failures during this trying time. The wedding itself was damn near magical, the actual marriage was not as enchanting. If you find any of this useful, please consider donating a tip to my divorce relief fund

The Jazz Age Jazz music and dance styles became highly popular across America during the 1920s and 1930s, now known as the Jazz Age. America is the birthplace of jazz, and the Jazz Age was a fantastic period that gave rise to many famous singers and musicians performing in that genre.

Yamila is a Dominican Republican who relocated to Canada to pursue her tertiary studies in Biology on a full scholarship. Suffice it to say, she has been making big waves ever since. Yamila Franco is a force to be reckoned with, and I don't mean that in a cliché way. I battled with writing this as I tried to decide how to do Yamila's story justice. I felt her list of accomplishments was too long to squeeze into just one article. Regardless, I chose not to pass up the opportunity to use a medium like this to share her achievements with the world. She is just that good.

Each morning, around halfway through my commute, my Ritalin kicks in. Today is no different. I'm exhausted; last night, I convinced myself it was a good idea to stay up late listening to a podcast. I've had three cups of coffee but the only result is a hollow ache in my stomach.
Erin ElizaPublished 3 years ago in Education10 High Growth Stocks Down 30%+ To Buy NOW!
After months of high flying growth stocks setting new all-time highs, we have finally seen valuations come down for many stocks, specifically ones in the Nasdaq. Like many predicted, funds and institutional investors alike have flooded back into the safe, defensive stocks in the Dow Jones Industrial Average (DJIA), and out of tech stocks in the Nasdaq. Just yesterday, the DJIA was up 306.14 points (0.97%), while the Nasdaq was down 310.99 points (-2.41%). This sort of 'breather' was much needed for the Nasdaq, which has seen almost 100% return since the lows in March of 2020.

How One Busy Mom Makes Time for Family Dinner
As a mom of four girls that range in age from seven years old to four weeks old I can certainly tell you how fast the time goes. I often wonder where the time has gone and how I could possibly be the mother of a seven year old already! I’m constantly questioning the decisions I am making as a parent - did I spend enough time with each of them today, did I use the right words to make them feel good, did I give their bodies the right amount of nutrients for energy and growth and the list goes on and on. Parenthood is a crazy ride and until about one year ago I was letting it fly by without realizing it.

Just as Martin Bashir's interview with Diana, the princess of wales in 1995, cast Prince of Wales in a wholly negative light regarding his extramarital affairs and his emotional absence, Oprah Winfrey's interview with the Sussexes is threatening to rock the centuries-old institution of the monarchy to its very core.
Adebayo AdeniranPublished 3 years ago in The SwampWriters Should Be Using Vocal+
I very much doubt that I am the only writer this side of the universe or any other side for that matter that struggles to stay focused. A creative mind is a wonderful and beautiful thing but it has a tendency to buzz and run from one creative project to another. For the longest time I struggled to stay focused on any one writing project and even harder to stay motivated when I did. Writing like any other craft takes practise.

In July of 2007, The Las Vegas Springs Preserve opened for the first time. The public and the press came out in droves. There were big photo ops, a ribbon cutting, lots of politicians and officials smiling for cameras, and speeches. Head of the Las Vegas Valley Water Commission, Pat Mulroy, spoke of saving the Las Vegas Springs, including the original settlement earlier called Big Springs, and congratulating everyone on the continuing construction of the massive complex called the Springs Preserve.

Bill ColemanPublished 3 years ago in WanderGreat Danes, Whiskey, and Classified Missions – Things You Never Knew About the Titanic
A week ago the extent of my knowledge about the Titanic was minimal at best. Everything I knew I learned from the James Cameron movie, and the only thing that really stuck with me was that there was definitely room for two on that floating door. A few days ago I had the opportunity to visit Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition in Orlando, Florida and I was able to hear the real story. Below is a list of 15 of the most fascinating, little known facts that I learned that day.
