As chaos, fear, and tensions mount during Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, people all over the world are looking for ways to help. We've all found ourselves talking about this war with friends and family, and there's a big reason for that: those conversations bring visibility to the things that matter and make room for change. Introducing Restlessness Worst Nightmare: The Lull Luxe Hybrid Mattress
As a new parent, I have quickly learned the value of sleep. I am now a mother of a precious 8-month old baby girl and the past eight months have been amazing, challenging, and life-changing! I cannot lie, those first few months were a complete blur, but now that our sweet baby girl has been sleeping through the night, we’ve been able to gain back some of those lost hours and we are so very happy about that. We are even more thrilled, because not only have our stretches of sleep increased, but we’ve also seen an improvement in the quality of our sleep. I knew that my sleep wouldn’t be my top priority when my baby came, so I wanted to make sure that when I was lucky enough to be getting some sleep, I was getting the best sleep possible. Since making the switch, my husband and I have both been noticeably sleeping so much better! This is all thanks to our new mattress: The Lull Luxe Hybrid!

Oredolapo A RobertsPublished 2 years ago in PoetsWhy I Started Falling Asleep to the Sound of My Own Voice
Recently, I started re-listening to an old audiobook written by Louise Hay on how to manage anger in life. I keep the scratched-up disk set in my car and enjoy the soothing sound of Louise's voice during my commute to work. In the five-disk collection, I find myself enthralled by her words repeatedly, and I often replay chapters to really get her message in my head. The other day, she offered a tactic that seemed novel, and perhaps one that might help calm me on rough days.
Susie PinonPublished 2 years ago in LifehackWilliam Shaw On A Life In Crime
When I talk to crime novelist William Shaw, he is alone in his writing shack in Devon, on the English coast. It's an off-grid, wooden building close to the sea but even closer to railway tracks, which is why he bought it so cheaply 30 years ago. "It was going for virtually nothing, because Network Rail have the rights to demolish it with no notice," he explains. "That put people off!"

Elden Rings is Dark Souls but on steroids. Everything about this game is much smoother and visually stunning. After seeing the release trailer of Elden Rings months ago, I instantly knew this game would be a hit. Not only did FromSoftware introduce a gorgeous new open-world, but they also added a new arsenal of abilities and skills.
Davlin KnightPublished 2 years ago in GamersConfessions Of A 40-Year-Old Tomboy
I’m not girly enough. I have always veered toward all things prescribed as male activities. As a child, I loved Lincoln Logs, Matchbox cars, and action figures. I played video games. I wanted to be an archeologist and travel the world digging up dinosaur bones and discovering lost civilizations. I raced with the boys in the neighborhood, easily outrunning them with my long legs. I enjoyed watching football and hockey, often lamenting the fact that when the boys played those sports, I couldn’t play along. They feared I’d get hurt, but I didn’t care. The scars didn’t bother me. Scars were the evidence of a good time, a game well played.
That Writer ChickPublished 2 years ago in ConfessionsPlant A Seed
The woman hummed as she placed the small cotton bags into her tattered purse. The seams of the worn leather bulged a bit, but held. Her grandmother had given it to her 70 years before for her 16th birthday, not too long before she passed away. She’d carried the bag for all the important events in her life. To weddings and births and funerals. When the seams failed, she’d taken a needle to them, ruining the pristine appearance but maintaining the integrity of the bag itself. Her great granddaughter sat at the table next to her, tiny legs swinging and tongue poked out the corner of her mouth as she carefully tied 3 knots in the ribbons holding the cotton bags closed.
Teaching Yoga Saved Me During the Pandemic
I got through the pandemic by teaching yoga. When it felt like the world was falling apart around me, my mat and breath anchored me in a way that nobody else could.

If you disapprove of the concept that a highly intelligent couple would turn their backs on their comfortable, suburban life, for a life of money laundering, while evading the FBI, then Netflix’s Ozark is not for you.

IF KYIV FALLS Derek B. Miller 26 February, 2022 It's nine o'clock in the morning in Barelona, where I live, and ten o'clock in Kyiv, Ukraine where the lawful government of a peaceful country is under assault from the Russians who — we're told by Western intelligence agencies — want to kill the elected leader, kill his family, and install a new government; a Russian government that thinks that will be the end of the story.
Derek B. MillerPublished 2 years ago in JournalWhy I will not give up on the Red Dress
She's there. She's always there. Carefully hung in my wardrobe and laying at the back of my mind whenever she feels like to. I sometimes forget about her, and sometimes, I cannot help but worship her. She's me, and I am her. I love and despise her, for I know I should probably forget about her. But I will never, and here's why.
