I will keep this short and simple because otherwise, you will not be here for long. Although we should not simplify complex social sciences like economics, to understand what inflation is, what causes it and why we are experiencing it, we must make these concepts more accessible to everyone.

Wake up babe, a new 95 Theses just dropped. For those lucky enough to not have your lives inundated by the relentless hellscape that is Twitter, you may have missed the latest discourse. The microcosm of wokescold-eat-wokescold that is Book Twitter (booktwt for short) has once again proven that reading and being utterly illiterate are not mutually exclusive. At 10:39 pm on August 17, a thread dropped which rendered the general atmosphere of Twitter somewhere between uninhabitable and euphoric. The thread–the poster of which remain unnamed to avoid further harassment of her–started like this:
kit vaillancourtPublished 2 years ago in GeeksPassion is overrated, and it almost cost me my health and career
Almost every startup or business conference attendee has probably heard it countless times: "Follow your passion!" — Or — "Do what makes you happy!" And even if you don't frequent such events, you probably read about them online or hear them from others.
Vibor CipanPublished 2 years ago in MotivationA Playlist for Writers Who Like to Run...or Walk
Before I became sick with COVID last May, I loved to walk and do interval jogging. Fitness has always been a big part of my life. I did it all—aerial yoga, Zumba, dance yoga, HIIT, cardio kickboxing, vinyasa yoga, cheerleading, track, aerobics, Pilates, Peloton, personal training, and of course, the treadmill. Unfortunately, I haven't recovered enough yet to do these intense workouts. I am grateful that I seem to be improving and can go for short walks. Who knows? Full recovery might not be too far off in the distance.
Jennifer M. WardPublished 2 years ago in BeatRepeat After Me "I Don't Know The Answer"
Standing at the front of the class I heard a loud scream from the back row "OWWW HELP" I looked out to see one of my 10th grade students with his arms up protecting his chest as his classmate punches him repeatedly. It's times like these that made me start wondering, how do my students get so off track that they need to act out? In the end the kid was only playing. The student who asked for help begged me not to take his friend to the principals office, he told me they were only doing it for fun and he was never in any real trouble. So in the end they both had to talk it out with the principal.

Sanilla Tennessee is the quaint meth ridden town you'd expect it to be. Filled to the brim with southern hostility and maybe five fast food joints. It's the type of town that hold secrets almost as well as it holds water. Considering it floods twice a year and is smack dab right on the Mississippi River, one might be inclined to tell a tale or two.
Divine Architecture
Randos is the known inhabitable world that Elves and Men reside within. It is surrounded by heaven and was laid out in such a way by the architect Elonwye. Here I will try to decipher his plan and explain the cosmology and geography of the divine plane of Randos. ‘Randos’ comes to us from the ancient language used by the spirits of elves and men, the language of the gods called Kermim or “God Speak”. The word in their tongue means “vastness,” or “plane”. It was designed as a flat plane so that the eye of Elonwye, our sun that we call Cyrius, can always watch whats happening on the surface. It’s believed that Randos is a reconfigured space fashioned out of the previous Nine Worlds that came before it, including the world that was inhabited solely by the races of men called Emblar. That world of the previous bygone age was not a flat plane but a round planet. A spherical world that could traversed by going sideways around it.
Braison CyrusPublished 2 years ago in FictionAutumn in the Mountain Country
In October, I took the opportunity of a long vacation to visit my mother in the mountains. On a crisp morning, we set off from Xi'an by car. We heard that the Xiping Expressway was open to traffic, so we got on the expressway with a feeling of appreciation and feeling. After the toll station entrance of Xianyang Airport is the avenue of Xiping Expressway, a flat and new avenue across the second loess plateau of Xianyang, the green belt on both sides of the road can not stop the red and yellow apples hanging on the branches, the glory of the red persimmons, can not stop the corn, pears and dates and various colors of the attractive fragrance of flowers. When walking through Liquan and Yongshou, the fog was so thick that it was hard to see ahead and to the sides, so the car slowed down and moved slowly in the autumn fragrance. Some people say that the sky is against us, not allowing us to feast our eyes, I say that the sky is afraid that we are intoxicated with the beauty of autumn, the fragrance of autumn flowers, and let us focus on the trip. After Bin County into Changwu, the fog slowly dispersed into a line of white clouds floating in the blue sky, the golden sunshine spread the wilderness, the breeze blowing refreshing.

Ellen "Jelly" McRaePublished 2 years ago in HumansAfter 2 years, I finally read my dad’s suicide note.
I took a deep breath to stop the slight shaking in my hand, whispering my affirmation on the exhale, “I’m ready for this, I’m ready,” before sliding the blue-lined notebook paper out from its envelope. It was finally ready to read my dad’s suicide note.

I studied the discipline of literature for five years, and what I value the most from my education is the context. Whether art, literature, music, or film - it has to be viewed in the context of its creation. During critical analysis, you must consider 1. the Context of the text; historical, political, and social. 2. the Purpose, what is the intention? Is there a moral to the story? What was the creator's aim? 3. the Receiver, what effect does it have on you the reader in your contemporary perspective, compared to the effect it had on those who first consumed the text? This is referred to as C.P.R.

Ionutz KazakuPublished 2 years ago in LifehackThe only quote about writing I'll ever need.
There are a million quotes about writing out there, ranging from the straight-talking, to the completely unfathomable. There's a lot of wisdom in them, there's no doubt about that, but there's a lot of…other stuff in them too.
Kieren WestwoodPublished 2 years ago in Geeks5 Reasons Why You May Want to Alter Your Online Identity
Are writers who use pen names and avatars to mask their true identities cowards? I used to think so, at least when it came to content creators. It’s one thing to be a woman trying to get her novel published in the 1800s and quite another to be one writing essays and opinion pieces today. Or is it?
