There is a mountain, towering into the clouds, which is difficult for birds to cross. No one knows how high it is. There are two roads in front of and behind the mountain for climbing. The main road in front of the mountain is paved with stone steps, straight and magnanimous; The back mountain path is full of thorns and twists and turns.

Why Daredevil is the Saviour of the MCU
From several recent announcements from Marvel, it looks like we are going to be seeing a lot more of the character of Daredevil in the next few years and I believe this is by design. It’s no secret that the Netflix Daredevil television series was the most popular of the bunch and was brought to life brilliantly by actor Charlie Cox. The series debuted in 2015 and had a three-season run spanning 39 episodes before being cancelled along with all of the other Netflix shows back in 2018. Looking back now we can see that was because Marvel was planning to redo their shows to tie much more closely to the MCU.
Why is the Arctic warming so much faster?
The Earth is approximately 1.1℃ warmer than it was at the start of the industrial revolution. That warming has not been uniform, with some regions warming at a far greater pace. One such region is the Arctic.

Ever heard of the crabs in a bucket mentality? It‘s a way of thinking summed up as: “if I can’t have it, neither can you.” Basically if you put a bunch of crabs in a bucket, and one tries to climb out, the rest of the crabs will all try to drag that crab back down into the bucket with them. Sure, any one crab can climb up and escape. Yet, it is the groups demise to pull each crab down that tries to climb up and out ahead of another first. ⠀

Life is a matter of the living and the dead. Those who are still kicking and those who have kicked the bucket. Life boils down to money and how much of it you have. When it comes down to the actual core of things, no one really cares about you. It’s about what you can bring to the table. If you don’t have anything you can render, you’re useless to others. Society stresses the importance of money and what it can buy. You can’t do anything without it. And if you don’t have it, you’re as good as dead.

Have you ever experienced driving your car from point A to point B and not remembering driving there? You reached your destination safely but basically did it on autopilot. That happens a lot. Your brain is trained to drive a certain way in a certain direction and get you there successfully. That’s because you have driven that route so many times, your brain is accustomed to the plan. The same goes for many other things in life. If you receive proper training on something, learn it and successfully master it, it comes to you automatically. Children are the same way; they need some training.

Nobody can hear a scream in the vacuum of space, or so they say. But as I look out the window towards the sky, I wonder. Can anyone hear me? Either here on earth or out there in the great vastness of the universe, are my cries for help even noticed. I keep using this old radio in hopes that someone left alive will hear me and direct me where to go or what to do. I can’t just stay here forever.

Part I The unmistakable trademark roar of a train rang out from somewhere deep underground as the absolute beast of machinery barreled down a set of tracks, the noise easily permeating into each and every connecting car along for the ride. At his usual position inside the very front compartment stood one man who stared ahead through the glass windows despite seeing an absence of anything new or exciting lurking in the surrounding scenery.
Leon WarczakPublished 2 years ago in FictionBillions Of Dollars Will Continue To Pour Into Italian Soccer
While many think the Italian Serie A (the top Italian soccer league) is a well-oiled machine, the Italian league has been lagging Spain, Germany, France, and England since the late 90s. This both in terms of international performance as well as in terms of new investment and innovation. At the national level, Italian soccer has lost its luster over the last 10 years, as for the second term in a row, the Azzurri (this is how the Italian soccer team is known) did not qualify for the World Cup. Missing the Qatar World Cup in late 2022 represents financial losses that could range between 10-15 billion dollars. These are losses the Italian soccer cannot afford. To top all that, last week's fall of the Italian government, led by Prime Minister Mario-Draghi, one of the most respected international technocrats, represents another financial blow for Italy as billions of dollars from the European Union may never reach Italy. While this crisis will isolate Italy within the EU, and make Italian borrowing more costly, it will accelerate investment and M&A activity across the soccer sector as soccer assets become cheaper. M&A is expected to accelerate across the three Italian soccer leagues namely the Serie A, Serie B and Serie C.
Andrea ZanonPublished 2 years ago in EducationGrieving a Living Parent: Week One
The first week was hard. I spent most of my time this week trying to do self-care and find new people to share my news and updates with. That used to be my dad. Hours and hours spent on the phone when he was driving a truck. We talked almost every day and I thought our relationship was something it was never going to be. I've never let my mother very close because of her behaviors in times gone by - and her unwillingness to address them in a way that is helpful and healing to either of us. So it was just trying to move on from the relationships I thought I was having with them.

I remember when I started dating my boyfriend years ago, my friends thought I made him because he wasn't on Facebook. This was when Facebook was just starting to get big and I was only using it because the copywriting agency I worked for required it.

Krystal KatzPublished 2 years ago in BeatThe Wonderful World of Studio Ghibli
As many people did, I started my studio ghibli addiction with the famous spirited away. After watching that masterpiece I was HOOKED! I had to hunt down every movie they created and watch it. The creator of most of the films Hayao Miyazaki brought a breathtaking world to our TVs. Every story is unique, and when you rewatch them another meaning comes to light. Character development is in each movie, with strong female leads. Heart-stopping art will have you want to be teleported into the wonderful world of Studio Ghibli.
Fed Up with my Anxiety
At 25 years old, I’ve decided to stop putting myself under unnecessary amounts of pressure. As an anxious person, this is easier said than done. I always have a feeling that I’m letting people down around me if I'm not meeting their expectations. Well, really what I think their expectations are. I have spent my life since graduating high school focusing on what I ‘should’ do to make more money, to be respected, blah blah blah.
