Chris GrieschePublished 2 years ago in PoetsEssential Advice on Writing and Life from Maya Angelou
Life is full of joy and happiness, but it's also full of struggles and pain. I'm glad our world has been blessed with wise people like Dr. Maya Angelou, who've come along and left their imprint on the world. When my brain feels as though it will explode into spaghetti noodles at any minute, such wisdom is vital in keeping it all together.

Michèle NardelliPublished 2 years ago in PoetsWhy Nasir “Nas” Jones Deserves a Nobel Prize in Literature
A slight rasp and precise diction; the projects become vivid scapes; wisdom becomes a thugged out ticket into the ruggedness of the urban zones of Queensbridge, Queens, New York City. The street poet Nas has shined a light into the dim places of the inner cities for decades now.
Skyler SaundersPublished 2 years ago in PoetsMovie Review: Netflix Once Again Cashes in on Marilyn Monroe with 'Blonde'
Blonde (2022) Directed by Andrew Dominik Written by Andrew Dominik Starring Ana De Armas, Adrian Brody Release Date September 23rd, 2022
Sean PatrickPublished 2 years ago in GeeksReview of 'Blonde'
Just watched Blonde on Netflix. I'm sorry to say I found only the acting was excellent. Let's talk about that excellence first. Ana de Armas as Norma Jeane delivered an Oscar worthy performance, conveying the 20% bravado/80% vulnerability that we think we know of Marilyn just perfectly. The voice, the facial expressions, and body language were so good, I could believe I was seeing Marilyn on the screen.

This article is also equally as relevant to renters, of who need to move on from such a rental home for whatever reason. Reasons for leaving a home are not necessarily due to terrible experiences happening in your life. They also have nothing to do with having a shortfall of cash. Positive experiences are also causes of needing to move from living and/or owning any form of home (investment or otherwise), where ample memories that are unique to you have been created.

A Brief History of "It's My Party"
Lesley Gore It was in 1962 that 16-year-old Lesley Gore went for her voice lesson. But this time around she and her piano player decided to visit a local studio in New York to cut some demos. Through an agent her demo made it to the desk of Irving Green the president of Mercury Records. Green was impressed by what he heard and signed the 16-year-old Gore. Green teamed Gore with up-and-coming producer Quincy Jones. Jones had just finished recording his jazz albums Big Band Bossa Nova and Quincy Jones Plays Hip Hits. He also just wrapped up recording projects with Nana Mouskouri, Sarah Vaughan, and Dinah Washington and went right into working with Count Basie, Billy Eckstine, and the Teen Queen of the U.S.A. Lesley Gore.

The Clean Plate Club
We’ve all seen it—those puppy dog eyes that seem to grow cartoonishly large right around dinner time. It was truly a battle to say “no” when our fur baby, Saucy, would stare longingly at our plates, completely ignoring the overflowing bowl of kibble that sat untouched beside her. What began with a few bites of chicken from our plate here or a carrot tossed to her there, quickly escalated into a nightly begging routine in which we wound up losing half of our meals to Saucy! This constant table-side begging became an issue we both wanted to solve for ourselves and our sweet girl. We wanted Saucy to eat food she loves, but it was difficult to get her to want what’s on her plate instead of what's on ours, especially when we know that the ingredients in her generic-brand food are oftentimes toxic and a bit sketchy.
Meghan & JackPublished 2 years ago in Petlife Merfolk of Randos
The first thing that one will notice when they lay eyes on a Mer is the ornate mask that is afixed to their faces. No one is sure what lies beneath it but the mask itself is rather unusual. The mask is crafted from an assortment of shells in the image of a human face. This practice of wearing these masks goes as far back as anyone can remember. The Merfolk have an admiration for humans, seeing them as their protectors. Time and time again, men have proved themselves to be allies to the Merfolk, whether they live in their waters or the seas abroad, men tend to arrive at the perfect time to be their saviors. This has resulted in the custom of mask wearing in their likeness and returning the favor in being devoted allies to the nations of men when they are in need of them.

When you are traveling around, moving in a group of others doing the same thing, it is still a protected bubble. I was in the backpacker’s group, doing the regular route most people follow. It was easy to avoid culture shock.
