Professionals speak out on the craze known as Trumpism.

Donald Trump’s followers are now displaying what some experts believe are all the signs of following a cult leader, if you don’t think so consider these red flags that always go hand in hand with narcissistic leaders. There are many warning signs and I have chosen to list 10.

1. Never question the leader and only obey because he is always right.

Trump's base makes excuses for his racist sexist rhetoric or ignore it. They believe everything he says although he had lied thousands of times. He never built the wall at the Mexican border as promised but his cult members ignore this and continue to say he is making America great.

2. The leader has been chosen by a higher power to carry out a special assignment.

Many Evangelicals said Donald Trump was divinely chosen because he is pro life and pro Israel. Two of them Paula White and Pat Robertson said they had been told by a higher authority that Trump would win in 2020 but he lost.

3. The leader focuses on what’s best for his life and does not truly care about those who follow him.

The latest of many selfish moves is Trump fighting tooth and nail to overturn the election instead of graciously conceding. He is not thinking about the welfare of the American people. Close to 250, 000 have died of the coronavirus yet the president is doing nothing to stop the pandemic. He instead made it seem that he was invincible because he beat COVID.

4. Say what the leader says and repeat his phrases and slogans to stroke his ego .

I have been shocked by the number of my Facebook friends and Americans as a whole who no longer use their own words. They have recorded and now playback the Trump sound. Everything is the fault of the Dems, the far left and socialists. The election was stolen etc.

5. Everyone else is the enemy

Trumpeters say that the world is against this wonderful man who is doing so much for the nation. There have been a number of people arrested for threats against CNN employees and a few shootings where the suspects admit they did it for Trump. They believe they must defend him at any cost. There is no room for a middle ground, either you support Trump or you are against him is the way they see it.

6. Make bizarre promises he can’t keep

Trump did not do anything for minorities or the poor. He did not replace Obama care.

7. Demands blind loyalty

Donald Trump fires everyone who will not agree with him.

8. Followers side with cult leaders even at the cost of family and friends

I know many siblings make and female who are fighting as if this is the battle of the North and South. Trump supporters Re losing friends and loved ones and don’t care.

10. Us against them mentality

Donald Trump demands loyalty or he will fire those who disagree with him. Donald Trump had 70 million Americans trust him for another 4 years. He convinced many of them that Joe Biden stole the election. Trump continued to lose his lawsuits yet his base keeps saying that the results should be overturned. These people believe there has been a worldwide conspiracy to not give number 45 a chance. They think that it’s them and Trump against the entire world.

The fact that so many Trump supporters agree with overturning the election indicates a frightening loyalty to this man They are not using reason, logic or good sense, but blindly going down the rabbit hole without giving it a second thought. There were Americans who were enamored of Barak Obama and thought he could do no wrong. They would strongly defend number 44 but never behaved like the Trumpians. Obama supporters never called those with opposite opinions names, or use vigilante techniques on anyone Obama may have indicated that he thought was against him.
