Roseanne Barr's Racist Tweet Will Help Donald Trump Win in 2020 and Here's How!
Rosanne Barr's racist tweet will help Donald Trump win in 2020 and here's how!
An African American man named Gregory Vaughn Hill was shot and killed four years ago after playing his music loudly in his own garage. While Progressives will want you to believe that’s all there is to the story and the man getting shot was proof of racism by cops and Republicans, that’s simply not the case at all. In fact, not even the jury’s decision in the man’s wrongful death lawsuit case wasn’t racist.
The family of the deceased filed a wrongful death lawsuit and it was determined by the jury that Mr. Hill was 99 percent responsible for his death and that the police weren’t to blame for his death. A lot of this verdict had to do with the fact that Mr. Hill was intoxicated and was found to have a gun in his back pocket after the incident, but Democrats believe it's racism.
The jury also decided that the family of the deceased would be awarded four dollars of compensation for the death of their family member. Keep in mind that I will mention the poor judgment of that decision on multiple occasion in this article, but that doesn’t mean that the decision is indicative of racism by the jury, Republicans, and Trump supporters.
Okay. Let's walk down why this isn’t racism step by step.
All references will be linked below so you can discuss the information yourself and make your own judgment. Mr. Hill was apparently intoxicated at the time of the police visit and had a gun in his back pocket. The police officer thought the man had a gun and Mr. Hill closing the door on the officers didn't help things either. Of course, the gun was unloaded after being retrieved from the victims pocket and the police officer fired in excess, the court's claim that Mr. Hill was mainly responsible for his own death is a correct judgment. With that being said, I don't believe the money the jury supplied was sufficient and they should have at least ruled that the funeral expenses would have been paid in an act of goodwill.
In the end, however, none of that is racism! Could the jury have had a little more compassion? Sure, and so should people in a lot of other cases. Not even the noise complaint was racist since the women filing it didn't even see the man! So how is she even racist if she didn't see the man, and was just annoyed at the noise in an area where she was picking up her kids?
This getting arrested for doing X, Y, or Z while black movement had some legitimacy in the beginning, especially the story about the women that was called the police on for sleeping in a common area at Yale. It seems to just be a way for them to vilify the right and make sure that they don't get re-elected.
The problem with what media like The Young Turks are doing is that they are ignoring certain facts in favor of others to shape this narrative. This wouldn't be so bad if they at least acknowledged that the man was intoxicated, had a gun, and was being belligerent, but they refuse to do so and then try to blame Republicans for not being compassionate enough.
How much compassion does this guy really deserve? That statement has absolutely nothing to do with his skin color, but the factors that led up to his death. Whether you like it or not, a noise complaint is a valid complaint and something that any number of people could call the police about.
Next, the man was drunk, had a gun, and shut the garage door in two officer’s faces. If any person, regardless of race, were to turn their back on an officer during a traffic stop and tried to get back into their car, they would have at least been tackled. Unfortunately for Mr. Hill, he had a gun on him, which put the safety of the officers at risk.
They didn't shoot him because he was black. Maybe that's what the left wing media wants Liberals to believe so it becomes easier and easier to vilify the right and shame them into submission, but the truth is that the man was belligerent, had a gun, and actively turned his back on two officers.
None of the above means that the event wasn't unfortunate and a loss of human life, but trying to make someone else responsible for another person’s actions is equally laughable as trying to claim racism every time something like this happens. It’s nothing more than a tactic to contentiously make the right look like racist lunatics and it's getting old.
In the end, Progressives want to believe and push the belief that this is all somehow Trump's fault. That this proves the left right when they claimed that the election of Donald Trump would lead to society going backward. This isn't going backwards and it isn't about Donald Trump.
What this is about, however, is being fed up with a PC culture that holds this ridiculous double standard of calling one woman a racist and firing her, but staying unusually quiet about times that the President, his family, his administration, and others were mocked. In fact, they seem to take a particular joy in making fun of Melania Trump.
Even more interesting is how they like to make fun of her accent. Believe it or not, Jimmy Kimmel actually made fun of Melania's accent when she read to children at The White House on Easter, but for some reason or another, wasn't fired. While some might see this comparison, it is important to note that the joke was based on her having a different accent.
What about Trump's press secretary, Sarah Huckabee Sanders, who was fat shamed during a White House dinner by a comedian and nothing ever came of it? She didn't lose her job, she didn't lose gigs, and she didn't lose support, but the left wants to continue to claim that the right isn't tolerant.
Wasn't fat-shaming, women's rights, and being body positive important issues on the left? You would think that if that was true they wouldn't have attacked Sanders with such visceral attacks, but they did and they got away with it. So why this double standard that allows you to pick and choose what is allowed and what’s not?
What about religious people? The View talk show co-host Joy Behar has previously said on the show that she believes people that talk to God are crazy. For some reason or another, vilifying religion has become a huge talking point on the left and is absolutely hypocritical and not consistent with the tolerance they want to see from others.
Here's the story to read for yourself and fact check what I’m saying.
Note: Please understand that in this article I am not defending Roseanne Bar, but I am trying to call attention to this tactic of picking and choosing information and then using it to vilify Republicans. With that being said, however, Roseanne Barr's tweet about the former Press Secretary was uncalled for and ABC should have absolutely taken the action they did.
However, this shouldn't be used as an opportunity to unfairly and unethically paint people in a bad light for your own political purposes. It is also not indicative of culture taking a downward nosedive after the election of the president. It was an isolated issue and should be treated as such.
The case of Mr. Hill should also be taken the same way. It shouldn't be a part of this bigger narrative or a certain organization's political goals. Not only is doing so taking advantage and lying to the people that you are supposed to be informing, it is, in itself, an act of racism to further your political agenda.
