The Crushing Duopoly of American Politics
In wake of recent events, whether in news casting or general public indecency, it has become clear to me that our great nation, which was once founded in hopes of freeing people from the clutches of leaders we did not choose, has been perverted to a mere shell of its former intent.

From Black History Month through to December this year, the black female owned organisation, Blacktress, have teamed up with Tristan Bates Theatre to bring a series of performances portraying stories about and written by black women. I attended one titled Regeneration. This play is based on the true story of an Eritrean mother, Rita, whose home on Loughborough Park estate in central Brixton, was being demolished in the process of gentrification. It tells of her journey to activism throughout her struggle to find ’home’ in the historically diverse district.

In the Autumn of this year our Fearless Leader in Washington is set to alter the Constitution in many ways. But, the 14th Amendment is the prime focus that President Trump wants to abolish. Our Founding Fathers in their infinite wisdom stipulated want constitutes citizenship and now Trump is again trashing the Constitution for his own political gain. Instead of focusing on total immigration reform, which is surely needed, Trump is again agitating millions of Americans with his rhetoric about eliminating birthright citizenship. With a bravado for circumventing the truth, Trump is fraudulently claiming that birthright citizens have no place in America today. Bear in mind that if Trump gets his way, millions of already American citizens could very well be deported just as inhumanly as this administration has done in the past. The cost would be a deathblow to the U.S. economy. The fact of the matter is currently there are still over 65 percent of undocumented immigrants already living and working in the US. And they have been here for over ten years.

My name is Erika F. Shore. I am an actress, a writer, a cosplayer, and more. One thing about me that is important is that I am Jewish. I am not the most religious Jew, I do not follow all my customs and traditions as well as I should be, but I am Jewish non the less. I am proud of who I am and my religion because it is more than just that. Being a Jew is not just a religion it's a culture, a whole life style.

What in the world is Donald Trump thinking this time??? Yesterday, the man made some pretty intense threats against Central American migrants heading north towards the US right now, calling for possible military force to be used against them.

The United States of America needs to get their heads out of their asses. The government is hung up on such trivial and completely idiotic laws that shouldn't need to be considered. Of course Trans-people should get the same rights as women and men. The last time I checked, Trans-people are people too. The law isn't supposed to be about opinions. It's supposed to be cold hard fact, so when a difficult, or emotionally compromising and subjective situation arises, the government can be guided into the best objective solution. Americans have ran around their whole historical life going back and forth between giving different groups of people the same rights as white cis males. News flash, white cis males are the minority group in the United States.

How many murderous gun crimes will Americans tolerate until they realise that gun manufacturers are the cause of mass death in that county?

I am originally from the Caribbean of Indian descent (ancestors from India). I grew up being told if I brought home a black man, I will be disowned. When I asked why, the response was always "because I said so." When I asked if I could bring home a white man, that was just fine.
I Knew Them, and so Did You
In the days following the heart-wrenching attack on Tree Of Life Synagogue, many of us in the Jewish Community found ourselves emotionally shaken, mentally drained, and in a fog of emotions that we're struggling to make sense of. We're in such a deep state of mourning, while trying to remain steadfast and assured of our own strength. We feel ready to cry and at the same time, ready to fight. We cry for lost loved ones, and we cry for justice. All the while, the world continues to turn and it doesn't quite make sense. Anyone who has lost a loved one knows this feeling. You are grieving and you can't move on and yet life just keeps on impossibly going. That's what it's like for us now.

Donald Trump has been repetitively exposed as and proven beyond any shadow of a doubt to be a notorious liar. On endless occasions in the public eye, he has falsified so much information that is readily available for public scrutiny and verification. There is no doubt in my mind and in the mind of any intelligent, sane, and informed adult that he is not to be trusted to tell the truth to the American people. Donald Trump is also a very disrespectful, immature, vulgar, crude, profane, thoughtless, insulting, and a toxic person. Much of his poisonous rhetoric is directed at minorities such as women, Muslims, and people of color. He has shown himself to be a person of very poor character. These are the facts ladies and gentlemen.
