Trina DawesPublished 3 years ago in The SwampSecond Stimulus Check is Coming
Alexa play Rihanna "B*tch Better Have My Money"! Alright everybody things are happening in Congress; things are finally happening. Apparently the second stimulus check has been approved, even though it should have been the tenth or eleventh check but no one is keeping track I'm sure. Is it going to be $600 (so disrespectful but are we surprised) or $2000 (less disrespectful but still rude). Let the fight between House and Senate begin. Is that how it works? I'm a millennial so I wouldn't know, shout out to my American Government teacher.

Matthew PrimousPublished 3 years ago in The SwampWhy would?
Why would? Why would so many people follow a bigot? A fear-monger? A racist? A sexist? A xenophobe? A pathological liar? An angry, hate-filled man? A man of no values? A man of no convictions? An untrustworthy man? A man whose word means less than nothing? An uneducated, unworldly man? A conman? A petty man? A vindictive man? A vengeful man? An unforgiving man? An uncultured man? A man who puts ketchup on well-done steak??

Wearing #7
I knew full well when I bought the jersey that it would surely cause some to cringe. I was waiting for the looks and whispers and even the snide comments. What I got instead, was an angry old man with a clear dislike for any other opinion that was not like his. The jersey I proudly wear is #7 Colin Kaepernick with #imwithkap on the front. I wore this to my local flea market where I have a small shop. The angry man in question is a vendor there also and has no problem expressing his love and loyalty for Donald Trump. Although I am not a loving, loyal fan myself, I have never once over this year ever commented on his red Trump 2020 hat he would adorn every week with pride. I have listened to him complain and bitch about his political views for over a year now. I may not agree with him or his views but would sit by and just let him have his opinion (no matter how vocal he was about it.) Everyone has the right to their own opinion. That’s what I have always told myself and others, until today.
Second Round of Stimulus Checks
I KNOW for a solid FACT that I am not the only one who is sick and tired to death of hearing about this "second round of stimulus checks". I'm sick of hearing the same stupid updates every 22 minutes. I'm sick of news outlets being biased and placing the blame on everyone else. I'm tired of it all.

Toxic Conservatism
Toxic Conservatism And Toxic Religion Written by TJ Hyland December 27, 2020 Freedom is a spectrum of privilege. It has never been a right to act without consequence, it has and always will be a privilege. In order to achieve equality, the consequences of our actions must have equal weight and equal rights under the law for all citizens of the law. None of us are truly free. We have documentation identifying us as belonging to the state, so freedom is a social construct, and the spectrum of freedom is subjective. Yet, it is a progressive movement we must fight for because tradition aims to keep us, slaves. We may not be able to free our bodies, but we can free our minds. Only when we can do that, can we learn how to change the system.
