Hazrat Usman RA was Islam's third caliph. He was a kind person who liked to help others. As the pilgrims left Madinah for Makkah, the rebels were getting stronger, so the crisis got worse. After the Hajj, the rebels gathered, and Muslims from all over the Muslim world gathered at Makkah to march to Madinah to help the Caliph Usman. You can visit the Mecca and Madinah by booking the 7 Nights 3 Star Ramadan Umrah Package 2023.

But they decided to do something against the Caliph before the pilgrimage was over. Nayyar bin Ayyad joined the rebels and was killed by Salat Kundi, one of Usman's supporters, with an arrow. The rebels were furious and demanded to know who killed Nayyar, but Usman refused to tell them. This event started the whole thing. Hassan, Hussain, Abdullah bin Zubair, Marwan, and a few others locked the gates to the house of Usman. The fighting between the two sides is now public, and some rebels have already been killed. Hassan, Marwan, and others were hurt while they were guarding the house.

The killing of Usman RA The rebels keep putting on more and more pressure until they get to Hazrat Usman's door and set it on fire. Some insurgents led by Muhammad Bin Abu Bakar scaled a neighbor's house and jumped into Usman RA's house. Usman RA was fasting on July 17, 856 C.E., when he had a dream about the Holy Prophet SAWW. He said:

"Usman, come break your fast with us tonight." We'll be glad to see you.

This dream tells him for sure that it was the last day of his life, so he got ready to die. He was reading the Holy Quran, and his wife Naila was sitting next to him. Some rebels came into the room, but they didn't have the courage to kill the Caliph. Then Muhammad bin Abu Bakar walked into the room and grabbed Usman's beard. Usman RA told him that he was like his nephew and that he would be dishonouring his father, Abu Bakr, if he planned to hurt him. Abu Bakr changes his mind after hearing what Usman says, so he leaves the room. When Abu Bakr walked out of the room, the rebels walked in and hit Usman RA on the head. His wife, Naila, tried to protect him by throwing herself on his body, but she was pushed away, and Usman took more blows until he died. He RA died while he was fasting, and just like in his dream, he broke his fast that night with the Holy Prophet SAWW.

Some of Usman's slaves jumped on the person who killed Usman with blows and killed him. Fights broke out between rebels and people who supported Usman, and rebels looted the house. When the women cried out loudly over the body of Hazrat Usman RA, the rebels left the house.

Hazrat Usman's Funeral RAEven after killing Usman RA, the rebels didn't feel like they'd gotten their full revenge. They even wanted to cut up Usman RA's dead body. Rebels wanted Hazrat Usman RA's dead body to be kept from being buried. When some of the rebels came up to the dead body of Usman RA, his two widows covered the body and wailed loudly, which scared the rebels away from their evil plans. After that, the rebels flew around Usman's house to stop the dead man's body from being taken to the cemetery.

FuneralFor three days, the third caliph of Usman RA's dead body was in his home. His wife, Naila, asked some of Usman's fans to help with his funeral. Only about a dozen of them answered, though. Marwan Bin Hakam, Zaid bin Thabit, Huwatib bin Alfaraf, Abu Jahm Bin Hudaifa, Niyar Bin Mukarram, Jabir Bin Mutaam, and Hakam Bin Hazam are some of the people who answered. Because there was no water, the dead body wasn't washed, and he was buried in the clothes he was wearing when he died.

Usman's body was found at dusk, and because of the blockade, no coffin could be found. Naila brought a lamp to the funeral, but she had to put it out so no one would find out. She was with a group of women, one of whom was Ayesha, the daughter of Hazrat Usman.

The DeathUsman's body was taken to the Muslim cemetery, Baqi Al Farqad, three days later. Some people who didn't want Usman's body to be buried in the Muslim cemetery gathered there and fought against it, while Usman's supporters insisted that the body should be buried in the Muslim cemetery. People who are against Usman's supporters are getting stronger, and Usman's body was taken to the nearby Jewish cemetery, Hush Kaukab. They quickly buried him there. Jabir bin Mutaam led the funeral prayer, and the body was put in the grave without much fuss.

What a shame that the third Caliph of Islam didn't even get a proper burial. There is no tragedy worse than that. People don't understand why they can't go to the funeral of the Caliph, who took care of the people of Madinah for twelve years and tried so hard to get them interested.

When Muawiyah took power, he had already built the wall between the Muslim graveyard and the Jewish graveyard. When more Muslims were buried near where Hazrat Usman was buried in Hush Kaukab, that area became known as Baqi.
