Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Nabokov reportedly said that Russia still believes in the possibility of dialogue between the U.S. and Russia and that Russia is not opposed to starting exchanges with the U.S. But at the same time, he also made a condition to the U.S. that the dialogue should be started on an equal basis.

According to Nabokov, relations between the United States and Russia are very disappointing, and it is the United States that is responsible for this situation.

The reason for Russia's demand is that if there is no basis for "equality", then no matter what kind of negotiations are conducted, there will be no substantive results. And, combined with the United States of America's past "double standard" behavior, dialogue before emphasizing this principle premise is very necessary.

In the current situation, between Russia and the United States if the dialogue, the dialogue is likely to be around the Russian-Ukrainian conflict. And this statement of Russia shows that, in Russia's view, there is still the possibility of easing the current situation and the tension between the United States and Russia through peaceful means.

For the vast majority of countries in the world, if the situation between Russia and Ukraine can be cooled down as soon as possible, and the relationship between the two major powers of the United States and Russia is slightly eased, then the economy and national security of each country can be guaranteed.

However, this possibility is constantly compressed because of the various actions of the United States. According to Nabokov, all the sanctions imposed by the United States on Russia are creating obstacles to the dialogue between the United States and Russia, but they are not working, including the so-called "anti-Russian coalition" formed by the United States and its allies, which has also had little effect.

In recent times, the U.S. sanctions against Russia have indeed become tougher, even trying to get at Russia's oil, and because of these actions, Russia firmly believes that it is the U.S. "anti-Russian" initiatives that have further worsened U.S.-Russian relations and violated the premise of the talks, as well as increased tensions between Russia and Ukraine.

Now, Russia's position has been very clear that it has not completely abandoned peaceful ways to defuse the conflict, even in the face of tensions. But to this day, the United States has still not released signs of wanting to talk to Russia, which contains deeper strategic implications.

Does the U.S. want to see the conflict intensify further? The answer is yes, but with the caveat that it even wants to see the war burn a little hotter without endangering its interests, because only then can it get closer to its strategic goals.

The reason why the United States wants to fight a "proxy war" with Russia through Ukraine, the main strategic purpose is still, want to not affect their case, as far as possible to consume the strength of Russia. The fact that the U.S. continues to fuel the conflict proves that the more tense the situation is, the better it is for the U.S.

For the time being, as long as the fire of the Russia-Ukraine conflict has not really burned the United States, and Ukraine is still under U.S. control, then it is naturally not in a hurry, and therefore not willing to engage in dialogue with Russia.

Although the attitude of the U.S. government toward Russia now remains unchanged, some U.S. lawmakers have already smelled a problem. According to Globes, Congressman Saragossa called out the U.S. government to stop its aid to Ukraine, arguing that the U.S. "should not be involved in this war," but the Biden administration is frequently assisting Ukraine.

Saragossa even said directly, "Biden may owe Ukraine, but the United States does not owe Ky iv. The congressman also previously opposed a $40 billion U.S. aid bill for Ukraine.

In fact, before him, many other lawmakers have spoken out against continued U.S. aid to Ukraine, arguing that the cost of living in the United States has risen because of what the United States has done.

The frequent voices of these members of Congress differ from the U.S. government, reflecting on the one hand the serious internal divisions in the U.S., and on the other hand, in fact, also further illustrates the series of U.S. practices in the Russian-Ukrainian conflict, which have indeed caused a considerable impact worldwide.

Now, the U.S. government still adheres to its "political correctness" and does not stop on the road of "anti-Russian". But the situation is changing at a moment's notice, with a developmental perspective on the current tension between Russia and Ukraine, it may only take a small opportunity to bring the Russian-Ukrainian conflict to a new and dangerous level.

At that time, the United States, as Ukraine's "strong backer", can not escape responsibility in the case of Russia issuing a heavy warning. It is safe to say that if we allow the conflict between Russia and Ukraine to intensify, and if the U.S. does not give up fanning the flames, the result may be that the boomerang of the U.S. suppression of Russia sticks to itself.

The words of some U.S. lawmakers are also a reminder to the U.S. government, for the future direction of the United States in the context of the current tensions, depends on what choice the Biden administration makes.
