The Kardashians Make History at the Met Gala 2022

As every year, the Met Gala 2022 took place on Monday, May 2 in New York City, the most important fashion charity event of the year. For the first time, all the Kardashian-Jenner girls attended: Kris, Kourtney, Khloé, Kendall and Kylie. In the case of Kourtney and Khloe, they were invited for the first time to the famous gala and dazzled with their respective aesthetic styles. This year, the main theme of the event was specifically American fashion. The intention of the gala was to pay homage to the "Gilded Age", through the slogan of the 2022 "Golden Age". Guests at the Met Gala were required to wear an outfit that represented American fashion.

Although many do not like it, the Kardashian-Jenners were once again the center of attention at a gala where there were artists, athletes, politicians and businessmen of the highest level.

Kris Jenner

Kris Jenner (66) decided to pay tribute to the greatest icon of American fashion: the late First Lady Jackie Kennedy. The momager wore a yellow asymmetrical dress designed by Oscar de la Renta. Kris debuted a bob haircut that looked amazing on her. The matriarch of the family has stated in many interviews that she believes her family are the "new Kennedys" of America. She has a point because the Kardashian-Jenner girls have had as much media exposure as the Kennedys had in their day.

Kourtney Kardashian

Kourtney Kardashian (43) enjoys her first invitation to the Met Gala. She decided not to follow the slogan imposed on the event and preferred to dress her own way. The businesswoman wore a short white shirt and a long black skirt. The outfit was designed by Thom Browne and was the most criticized of the party. Kourtney admitted that she never wanted to follow the gala's slogan because she preferred to feel comfortable during the event. Some people thought the outfit was so horrible that they said her skirt looked like a slimming skirt.

Kim Kardashian

Kim Kardashian (41) paid tribute to Marilyn Monroe. She wore a dress that belonged to the iconic American actress, which she used to sing "Happy Birthday" to President John Kennedy.
