Asleep on a stormy night

Warm blankets and arms wound tight

Your perfume pervades the air

As I dream of you

***

Swirls of snow fill the air

Soft snowdrifts everywhere

Outside my window footsteps filled

Like my heart, with love for you

***

The rise and fall of your lover’s chest

In my arms, it feels the best

I could make my life in the warmth of you

Your sweet smile to get me through

***

The street lights frosted with winter cold

Hazy days and nights concealed

Curtains of white stretched to infinity

As I bathe in the warmth of your exquisite femininity

***

From winters cold and icy glare

To spring and summer, I’ll be there

With you in autumn too

Your love, my love to get me through,

***

Forever your love will carry me through.
