Dismiss your intelligence
And regress in maturity
To make mistakes
Or believe in change.

And expect to be
Loved more.
You are not a
Captive of love
Just because you
Have so much of it
To give.

The very thing
You swear is a taint
On humanity’s potential
For compassion and rapport.
