You are my light that bestow me in the darkness
A hopeful poem

When I go into the room and see you,
it's the lack of shadows that gives me clarity —
not in awe, like the sun, which offers you nothing more than its own rays
that even the eyes can't fully perceive; but a spectacle of reality.
It is the contour of your nose that emanates wisdom,
just like the rest of you.
Always looking for more.
It is your grin that bestows blessings.
To every spectator
who will ever come into contact with you,
for they, too, have been in the dark for far too long.
They, too, want more.
But you are more than sufficient.
