i know a wonder of a woman
a perfect picture of duality
though plentiful in physical grace
i am seduced by her mentality
in all her depth and complexities
i’ve found myself enchanted
her rhythms follow no cadence
she is a rose, but never planted
and still she grows.
often at a fairly alarming rate
she is evolution manifested
into a most enthralling state
she does no harm,
but tolerates no spite
her high vibrations can be your paradise
your low vibrations could be your plight
her power is within her,
and all things are within her power
she can fill you with her love and light
if you choose to allow her
she is a torch that shall never be quenched
she feels that bliss is her birthright
she is moved to tears by sunsets
she feels the trees instead hug her tight
sure, her frame of mind is eccentric,
but it only adds to her glamour
my favorite feature of this wonder of a woman
would have to be that i am her

The Caretaker of Cavendish Manor
The mirror showed a reflection that wasn't my own. She had the same brown hair, same blackheads, same tired eyes looking back at me, but somehow I knew she was a fake. It was in the expression on her face, as if she was keeping a secret. I scoffed at her, spraying the antique mirror with some cleaning solution and wiping it with a cloth. The rest of the parlor’s furnishings were shrouded in dust covers. I thought it best to keep them covered and only use what was necessary.
