Wish I Was Made of Words

I love you

My deepest

My love

My wish

My energy

You fill me up

You fill me with butterflies and daylight

You glow in the dark

and you do everything so slowly

your eyes look at me and they tell me the time of day

How could I have done this to you

How could I have done this to me

What am I? Man or beast?

Neither, I'm a boy

I am so sorry

My heart cries

it cries and it screams

there is blood, there is terror

My mind can't keep up

with where you're going

Everything is so tipped

All the weight is to the left

It could have been so easy

you were right there the whole time

Now you are not

I have no right to know where you are

I have forfeited all of my rights

I wish with every last drop of blood

I wish it was different

But alas, I have caught up to myself

Justice has come and taken me during the night

while I sleep

Justice has sunk its sword deep into my ribs

and out my back

Justice has come for you too

It has not come in the night

it has come in the day

Justice has come to rescue you

From the mutilated and grotesque fingers which makeup my hands

I cut them off, they are disgusting hands after all

No matter, Justice left Sunday.
