Dreaming of summer days through my winter nights

Remembering sunshine’s warmth under northern lights

Snowflakes dancing past sacred memories that glow

Echos of thunderstorms, buried beneath the falling snow

Golden melodies pouring themselves into winter song

Joy converges with melancholy as if they always belong

Winter dreams of fantasies forged on the ocean’s shore

Like a sandcastle, beautiful but temporary, here no more

Sun-soaked memories melting from the heat of the fire

Losing their spark, losing their hope, losing their desire

Whistling winds drown out the rhythm of days of heat

Freezing nights whisper out the longing for a sunny beat

During the thaw, summer fades, and winter dreams stay

Frozen hearts surrender the memories of a summer day
