Wind

Distant, but near,

Instant and clear,

Selfish, but joyful

Tender and gentle,

Roaring in anger, out to the world,

Alone, abandoned, and deeply scared,

Cold-hearted, but kind,

Truly feeling sublime,

Independently singing as it flows oh so high,

Only ever following storms and sky,

Never hurting a soul… though it could try.
