Will Oak Island Make History?
Only Time Will Tell
This documented mystery has started to unravel
Two brothers a treasure they started to seek.
The quest for a money pit to Oak Island they travel.
A tv audience watching week by week.
Mining, excavating, and sifting through gravel.
All in hopes of a quick sneak peak.
Marty and Rick with a big entourage.
Map the Oak Island for spoils and riches.
Unlike a glaring desert there is no mirage.
The drilling non stop almost like vertical ditches.
Core samples and sonar by Experts they employ.
Reveal timbers and timelines that bring great joy.
Gary and Alex dig up treasures of the past.
Sharing immediately with Marty and Rick.
Cast iron swages built to last.
Not only that but they are thick thick thick.
More to be revealed by a swamp from way back.
Identifies as man made or so we are told.
A sore spot that induced rivalry and flack.
Now brothers on this appear to be sold.
10x a big part of the mystery,
The money pit now be closer than thought.
Soon I believe they will make world wide history.
If this is for truth and riches be careful what's sought.
As Oak Islands mystery is said to be cursed
Depending on ones finite belief.
Its best each day be fully nursed.
And remember each day to give a sigh of relief.
They have not yet unearthed what cannot be explained.
Blue blood lines of Templars and Kings
May be eyeing intently for treasures they lost.
No longer small buttons and fancy gold rings,
They may take it all at no matter the cost.
Pay the respects to their fortunes they lost
Then the curse may be lifted by falls early frost.
With honor integrity and respect
the fortunes that show
The lost lives not regret
Apply the diligence you know.

This was a fun write because this televised series has be going on for a while. Rather than sell my poetry in collections I would rather share my thoughts and impressions with anyone that cares to read them. Vocal does run on tips too, so if you like this poem, maybe even if you thought this funny and nonsensical and would like to leave a tip, that would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for stopping by.
