The sun's rays filter down through,
The forest canopy, divine and true.
Morning light dances with glee,
Through sugar maples and beeches free.
Leaves rustle in the whispering breeze,
As I walk with purpose, at ease.
Each step taken with quiet grace,
In this enchanted, sacred space.
Pausing to notice nature's symphony,
The choral song of the chickadee,
Echoes in the wind, sweet and clear,
As they flit about, without fear.
Their tiny wings, a swift ballet,
Carrying melodies, bright and gay.
A serenade of nature's delight,
A harmonious chorus, taking flight.
In this tranquil moment, I find,
Peace and joy that soothes my mind.
The beauty around, a gentle embrace,
Nature's wonders, my soul's solace.
The sun's rays, the whispers of leaves,
Together, they offer me reprieve.
In this forest sanctuary, I stand,
Grateful for nature's tender hand.
So, I'll cherish these fleeting hours,
Amongst the trees and fragrant flowers.
For in their presence, I am whole,
