When once we were Gods

and held the Sun and the Moon in the palm of our hands

we danced with the Sun and our playground was the Earth

we were friends by the side of the Creator

in the movie of life from the time of our birth

when once we were Gods

with the power to rise above time and the landscape of planets

Jupiter, Saturn and Mars

we had wisdom and the knowledge of the power and influence of the stars

free from the cycle of death and revolving births infinite

that blurred our perspective and damaged our precious sight

when once we were Gods

our knowledge was complete

and the possibilities of an unlimited future lay at our feet

but the attraction became an entrapment from which we still struggle to escape

we must raise the vibrations to see beyond the veil's inpenetrable gates

lest we fail

there's hope that when we remember this

and no longer desire to roam

we will have found at last

our true pathway Home.
