Flame's Demise

In the realm of fiery passions and dreams,

Where hopes and desires dance as vibrant gleams,

There lies a tale of love, once strong and true,

But now reduced to embers, fading from view.

Oh, how fervently it burned, this love's fire,

Igniting hearts with an intense desire,

Two souls entwined in a passionate embrace,

Creating a bond, impossible to erase.

But time's cruel hand wielded its wicked blade,

And love's fervor began to slowly fade,

The once-bright flames now flickered with despair,

As the weight of reality began to bear.

Gone were the days of tender, sweet caress,

Replaced by distance, doubt, and loneliness,

Promises once made, now broken and frayed,

Leaving a trail of sorrow, bitter and dismayed.

The love that bloomed, now wilted like a flower,

Its vibrant hues faded, its fragrance turned sour,

Leaving behind a trail of shattered dreams,

And the bitter taste of love's demise, it seems.

Yet, even in the midst of such profound grief,

Hope whispers softly, offering some relief,

For in the ashes of this love's demise,

New beginnings may emerge, like a phoenix that flies.

So let us mourn the loss, let tears freely flow,

For all that was, and what we'll never know,

But as we heal and learn, love can be rekindled,

From the remnants of a flame, love can be rebuilt.

For love's failure is not an end, but a chance,

To grow, to evolve, to find a new dance,

And though the scars may linger, deep and long,

Love's resilience will always make us strong.

So let us gather the strength to rise above,

Embracing the lessons learned, with hope and love,

For in the depths of failure, seeds of wisdom lie,

And in the face of adversity, love will never die.
