When the dark of the night falls clear

And all is said and done

She’ll sit alone,

Wondering what to do

Minds will wander to the darkest depths

And the light way out will go

Now she’s just a girl

Hidden in the dark

Unable to see

Unable to understand

She’s changing before your eyes,

She’s losing her ability to care

She’s plunging into a deep black hole

Her tether to the top uncertain

When the light of the day breaks through

And all is ready to be said

She’ll have nothing left to say

She’ll be gone inside her mind.
