What's Happy?

A Poem About My Interpretation of Happiness and Life

Art by Myself

I'm somewhere between happy and sad.

While that's not bad, I hope to one day be genuinely happy.

Not the happy that's portrayed in the media we see every day, where the money that's made buys your way.

I don't need the money.

I don't need the luxury.

I need happy.

What's happy you say?

Well, it's when you wake up knowing that you've found your way in life.

It's when you don't think twice about what you're doing.

"I love who I am."

"I love where I am."

"I wouldn't want it any other way."

Happy is the day you can finally say;

"I'm okay with where I stand."

"I'm prospering knowing that I'm comfortable and that comfortability gives me the ability to say..."

"I'm happy."
