What's Free?
A short poem for a sunny day.
Free is the chirps of the birds and the buzzing of bees.
Free is the soft green grass and cool shade of the trees.
Free is the clear blue sky and the sun's warming beams.
Free is the cooling of rain and it's carrying breeze.
Free is the calm sea and it's crashing foamy waves.
Free is the the inner child and the times it misbehaves.
Free is the spirit within at the embrasure from mon amour.
Free is the feeling of hot skin sticking to a cold tile floor.
Free is all of these things and so many more.
What's truly free? What's free is me.

A New Beginning
