what if there's more to the story

for those caught up in boosting their image/wish they knew that there's more to the story/hold on to the trophies and medals of the past/but it just attacks the fact that there's more to the story/to them they take all the glory/

for those who can't look themselves dead-on in the mirror/wishing that they had some more achievements to their name/but the trophy case is empty/it makes them start to worry/wants to make them start a new story/when they only, just only want some glory for once/want to be appreicated/want to be recognized/want to not be looked down for another day/want to change the future of their destiny, maybe history/

two different lives but the same desire/two different stories but they are the same on the inside/broken/attention-seeking/power-hungry/starved for more/starved for better/never bothering with what's inside/never bothering to look beyond their own two hands/never bothering to seek what's just beyond the horizon of their reality/limited by the fact that they are all the world revolves around/nothing more nothing less/

but what if there was more to the story/what if there wasn't a point to working harder/or the number of smiles you get in a day/what if what really mattered is something never seen/
