Watermelon Chandeliers

worthless art

Price is determined by supply and demand.

My art has flooded the market,

so maybe my art is worthless,

because my right hand doesn't know

how not to pick up a pen.

+++

But when I stop writing,

I lose myself to find myself,

by writing again.

Words on paper,

whatever pops in my head,

hoping to make the world make sense.

+++

I write, I read, I write again,

but sometimes it is just as I feared,

my words become random,

watermelon chandeliers.

+++

Is every artist considered crazy?

Ask me if I make art,

I'd say "maybe,"

and turn the lights on

to my watermelon chandeliers.
