Wasnt Enough

Sick

As though being brown skin wasnt enough

Hiding behind smiles, but this protection, clearly a bluff

As though being born in America wasnt enough

Wanting to naturally be, yet forced to be Army tough

As though learning to be female wasnt enough

The cat calls, the way they stalk; having to be rough so I wont get roughed up

As though life just wasnt enough

Mother Nature forever showing off her stuff

The Sun fire, the winds fly higher, the waters overfloweth whenever they desire

Yet you out here to steal, stay ready to kill.... joy

Love

Light

Family

As if there wasnt enough.
