It's fading, what can I say?

It's not just the action, it's the thoughts too

I'm wading in cold water, just waiting for you

Yet, dare I say, "actions speak louder than words"

Who knew?

In this case, they both speak because your heart wont

You tell me to stop caring but I don't

Your actions and thoughts speak for you because you don't correct them

You just let them, you just let go

And so,

It fades into the unknown

We sit on these hypothetical thrones, these yes's and no's

alone, not sure where to go

Yet dare I say, I'm still holding onto your string

I'm still trying to create something

This is a duo, so why am I the only one to sing?

What I'm trying to say is,

Nothing

There's nothing for me to say anymore

I've said it all, I've tried to be loud, I've tried to stand tall

But in your silence, I fall
