I lay and ponder
under the shadow of leaves
What do you see
when you look at me?
How deep!
How shallow!
Am I to you?
An open book
quick to finish
or are you enthralled
by every new chapter
Have you figured me out?
from my gait
to my very heartbeat
or a puzzle
full of intrigue and challenge
Personally,
I wish to be deeply intriguing
a body one would be
unafraid to wan in
a page turner easy to read
with a mistery around each turn
