Unsound Minds
For you to feel as you feel right
Joyful are the days
Over which the sun does shine;
Shocking our winter aches
Happily waving away the memories
Under which we suffer
Agonisingly close to death.
Listen carefully and you may hear
Inside every mind, a little voice
Neither side may make clear
Only confuse your only choice.
Death seems a lively option
As you happily bring the day to an end.
Thought the darkness seeks to set on in
Happy memories you wish to send
Cover up those hurtful thoughts
Obscure as others may seem
Safely in your comfort zone.
Together your own sun can beam
Shining forth on the future scene.
