you are supposed to feel content.

no matter how much weed

your heart stops and you’re frozen

for a second,

i hope it hurts to hear my name,

any mention makes you flinch

and i hope it’s hard to bring up the

things that your past self did.

i hope you try to avoid it,

but know that you can’t.
