It’s a new day

A new time, A new space

Will you believe in what you know,

Rather than the case?

How do you feel about the science

That tells us we’re wrong?

That we shouldn’t believe in the spiritual life,

Cause they know it will keep us strong.

Isn't it a shame,

We have to prove that we are worth our color?

Instead, we are quieted for being too loud,

And being the “other”.

Nonetheless we are proud!

The proudest of the land!

We still have a lot of work to do but,

I know we can.

Learn to be an inspiration to others

Because some still feel afraid

Afraid to be themselves

Inside of a world that wants them delayed.

We are more

Than what they are leading on us to be

But now is our chance,

Our chance, to make them see

Our day has come

And our time has changed

Our space is no longer limited

We are now
